You may have been to Paris, Lyon or Bordeaux but have you ever thought about the countryside of France?  Provence, one of my favorite parts of France, is waiting for you!  You can rent an apartment in the historic walled city of Avignon and enjoy ...

The Blue Mountains outside Sydney Australia

I've had the pleasure of visiting Sydney twice, both times enjoying the Australian summer (December to March). l had the experience of being in Sydney for New Year's Eve - WOW what a show!

It's a very accessible city for English speakers, though it's important to remember they drive on the left!

No Sydney visit is complete without experiencing its famous beaches. Manly and Bondi are two popular choices, easily reached by ferry – a fantastic way to navigate the city. The iconic Sydney Opera House is a must-see. I recommend taking a tour, and if you can, attending a performance – the acoustics are truly remarkable.

Another unforgettable experience is climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The views of the harbor and city are simply breathtaking. And I checked this off m bucket list!

A trip to Sydney should also include a scenic drive to the Blue Mountains. The fragrant eucalyptus trees and stunning mountain vistas are well worth the trip.  For a truly memorable adventure, consider a bucket-list experience like snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef. I opted for a seaplane tour, landing directly in the water before transferring to a boat. After snorkeling, I enjoyed a scenic flight back over the vibrant ocean.

I absolutely love Sydney – the friendly people, the vibrant atmosphere, and the incredible array of things to do and see.
