I absolutely love every unique region Italy has to offer, but there is something special about the Riviera, especially Cinque Terre and Portofino. Every visit to this region is unforgettable. From the vibrant colors of the cliffside villages to the luxurious charm of Portofino’s harbor, there is something magical about this coastal region. Cinque Terre is Italian for 5 lands. It is a A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its villages are Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. These villages are renowned for their breathtaking landscapes, terraced vineyards, and crystal-clear waters. Whether you’re looking to hike the rugged trails between the villages, savor authentic Ligurian cuisine, or simply relax by the sea, there really is something for everyone here. I am partial to Riomaggiore; its sunset views cannot be beat. Portofino is a destination near and dear to my heart because my Italian grandmother visited when I was young and her pictures were breathtaking. Portofino is famous for its picturesque harbor and upscale ambiance. Whether you want to explore hidden coves, indulge in a wine-tasting tour, or immerse yourself in the cultural history of the region, I am here to create a customized itinerary tailored to your preferences. Let me take care of the logistics, so you can focus on making memories that will last a lifetime. The Italian Riviera is a destination you won't forget.

An Overlook near the Pipiwai Trail
I recently explored four of Hawaii’s remarkable islands, each offering something distinct and unforgettable. The Big Island stood out as my favorite, largely due to its diverse landscapes and unique experiences. One highlight was visiting Honoka’a Chocolate farm, where we were guided through the fascinating process of chocolate-making by Mike, an expert whose enthusiasm made the tour both educational and genuinely enjoyable. Another standout moment on the Big Island was our day trip to Mauna Kea. Watching the sunset from its summit, above the clouds, was surreal, and later stargazing with crystal-clear views of the Milky Way was one of the most awe-inspiring experiences of the trip.Maui, while different in character, was equally captivating. The famed Road to Hana lived up to its reputation, with dramatic coastal views, waterfalls, and lush greenery at every turn. We made sure to stop at a local smoothie stand, which provided a refreshing break from the drive. Hiking the Pipiwai Trail was another highlight, as the trail’s bamboo forest and eventual arrival at the towering waterfall and the ‘Ohe’o Pools made the trek more than worth the effort. On Kauai, despite some rainy weather, the island’s beauty still made a strong impression. We took a sunset catamaran tour along the Na Pali Coast, where the cliffs rising dramatically from the ocean created a scene that felt almost otherworldly. The rain added an element of mystery and beauty to the landscape, and the coastline views were some of the best I’ve seen anywhere. Oahu, with its lively urban energy, offered a completely different vibe but was no less enjoyable. We explored local farmer’s markets, discovering unique products like black lava sea salt, and spent time on the North Shore, which is known for its world-class surfing. Watching the surfers and soaking in the beach atmosphere was the perfect way to spend an afternoon. We also took the opportunity to visit Disney’s Aulani Resort, which provided a more polished, family-friendly experience while still offering a taste of Hawaii’s natural beauty. Hawaii’s islands are strikingly diverse, from the volcanic landscapes of the Big Island to the lush rainforests of Maui and Kauai, and the vibrant city-meets-beach vibe of Oahu. Each place left a deep impression on me, not just because of the scenic beauty, but because of the unique experiences and the way the islands blend nature, culture, and adventure so seamlessly. It’s a place that goes far beyond its postcard-perfect reputation.
