Embarking on your "dream" cruise is an extraordinary experience that will exceeded all expectations.

Our family adventure began in the city of Rome, Italy. As we boarded our Celebrity Cruise, we were filled with excitement. The grandeur of the ship promised a voyage filled with luxury, relaxation, and breathtaking sights.

Our first port of call was La Spezia, a charming coastal town in the Liguria region. From here, we went on an excursion to the picturesque Cinque Terre. The colorful villages and cliffsides were like scenes from a storybook. We walked through narrow alleys, ate a ton of fresh seafood, and soaked in the stunning coastal views.

Next, we sailed to Portofino, a small yet glamorous village known for its pastel-colored houses and yacht-filled harbor. We spent the day exploring, visited the historic Castello Brown, and enjoyed a leisurely lunch at a café. The beauty of Portofino was simply enchanting.

Cannes, our next destination, welcomed us with its glamor. Famous for its film festival, the city exudes sophistication. We walked along the Promenade de la Croisette, did some boutique shopping, and soaked up the sun for the rest of the day. A quick visit to the old town, Le Suquet, provided a glimpse into Cannes' rich history and charming architecture.

In Monte Carlo, the epitome of luxury and opulence, and one of the stops I was most excited about. We of course made a stop at the Monte Carlo Casino and walked along the harbor imagining who owned all the lavish yachts. We toured the Prince's Palace in Monaco, along with the lush gardens of the Jardin Exotique. The city's glamorous lifestyle was a stark contrast to its natural beauty.

Our journey continued to Palma de Mallorca, where the Gothic architecture of La Seu Cathedral dominated the skyline. We explored in the morning and went on a snorkeling excursion in the afternoon. The island's blend of history, culture, and stunning beaches made it a fun and memorable stop.

Our final destination was Barcelona. The eclectic architecture of Antoni Gaudi, including the iconic Sagrada Família and Park Güell, left us wanting more. We took a drive out of the city to Montseratt, a stunning mountainous region near Barcelona, which is renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and spiritual significance. At its heart lies the Benedictine Abbey, home to the revered Black Madonna statue, which has been a pilgrimage site for centuries. The serene atmosphere, coupled with the awe-inspiring views and rich history, makes Montserrat a must-visit destination!

This Celebrity cruise was more than a vacation; it was a wonderful way to be introduced to new places and revisit some old favorites. All the while on a journey through some of the most beautiful and culturally rich destinations in the Mediterranean. Each port offered its own unique charm, and the ships endless amenities making the experience a unique and hassle-free way to return to your “home away from home” every night. Where at your fingertips you can indulge in diverse dining options, engaging entertainment, luxurious accommodations and amenities galore. Choosing a cruise was the ideal choice for our family of 5. Can’t wait for our next odyssey!
