To truly enjoy luxury travel, you cannot miss out on the palatial accommodations featured in Key West and South Florida. I am proud to represent this travel destination, as it offers so many opportunities for creating the ideal holiday. For example, a trip to Key West is not complete without a visit to Bahama Village. The village allows you to absorb old-time Key West with its narrow and winding alleys and streets and old buildings, once used for making cigars. The village is also home to the stately Key West Lighthouse (built in 1825). Scale the lighthouse's 88 steps to get a panoramic view of Old Town from afar. A photo opportunity and famous landmark in Key West, Southernmost Point features a buoy that gives you the proximate distance to Cuba (90 miles). South Florida and Key West also feature sunset tours - a serene experience that lasts about two hours. Sip a sun-downer as dolphins and sea turtles swim beside your boat, and listen to the late evening songs of water birds. A stay in Miami is always a treat as well, as it provides guests with endless shopping, a Cuban culture that includes a vibrant musical atmosphere and one-of-a-kind cuisine. As your South Florida travel agent specialist, I can book a holiday that will allow you to embrace a fusion of flavorful foods and savor a resort and beach lifestyle. South Florida and Key West both offer 5-star accommodations, Michelin-inspired cuisine, and sunsets and sunrises like no other place in the world. Anytime is the perfect time to schedule a tropical getaway. Talk to me today and let's arrange the perfect South Florida and Key West escape.

Louisville Slugger Bat Factory
Recently, my son and I decided to spend a weekend in downtown Louisville, KY. This was my first visit to the area. What a great downtown area: hotels, shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife, museums, and, of course, Louisville’s famous whiskey distilleries. There are a wide range of hotels in downtown Louisville, from high end to economy and from new to very old. We chose to stay at the Seelbach Hilton, one of Louisville’s oldest hotels. Nine presidents have stayed there and there is also a resident ghost, “The Lady in Blue”, although she didn’t make any appearances to us during our visit. One place I strongly recommend touring is the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory. Not only do you get to take a tour to see how bats are made, but there is also a museum with exhibits of the many major leaguers that used Louisville Slugger bats. You can even choose a bat from one of your baseball heroes to hold. I chose a bat used by Willie Mays and my son held one of Derek Jeter’s bats. There are other great places to visit in downtown Louisville. Did you know that Muhammad Ali was from Louisville? You can visit the Muhammad Ali Center which is right downtown on 6th Street. And then, of course, there are the distilleries - many, many distilleries where you can do tasting and take tours to learn about the history of whiskey-making in Louisville; from the distilling process, to mashing, and finally the aging in barrels. My favorite tour was at Michter’s Fort Nelson Distillery on Main St. Our knowledgeable tour guide took us through the entire process used by Michter’s to distill its whiskeys, bourbons, and ryes. My favorite tasting was at Angel’s Envy Distillery. I enjoyed this because Angel’s Envy is my favorite bourbon. The day we were there, we got to taste their newest bourbon, Angel’s Envy Triple Oak Straight Bourbon. Take a short ride from downtown and you can visit the Buffalo Creek and Maker’s Mark distilleries. So whether you’re planning to spend some time with your adult children, a guys or girl weekend trip, a golf outing with your buddies, or a bachelor/bachelorette getaway, I would recommend you look into visiting Louisville!
