To say my family is a fan of Walt Disney World is an understatement. It's almost embarrassing how many times we've been there. It's my happy place, my home away from home. From the moment I walk onto Main Street USA I become that little girl who never wants to grow up and the nostalgia of my youth comes rushing back.
My favorite memory was when my husband was invited to play golf in a tournament at Walt Disney World. We stayed at the Contemporary and were treated to some Disney magic. One night they brought us to Hollywood Studios. As we arrived and walked into the park the workers lined the street and pretended to be paparazzi. Cameras flashing, asking my 7 year old for autographs. For a moment we felt like movie stars. My daughter was 4 at the time and obsessed with Minnie Mouse. She wore the dress, shoes and ears. As we watched a show, Mickey and Minnie picked her out of the crowd and lead her up and down the streets of Hollywood Studios. Talk about tugging at our heart strings. It was truly a magical moment.
