Ireland, known as the "Emerald Isle," is a lush, green paradise filled with rolling hills, ancient castles, and a welcoming spirit. This island nation, located to the west of Great Britain, is known for its breathtaking landscapes, rich history, and lively cities. Visitors are drawn to Ireland for its natural beauty, friendly locals, and a vibrant culture filled with music, storytelling, and deep-rooted traditions.
Dublin, Ireland’s capital, is a bustling city that combines historic charm with a modern vibe. Here, you can stroll along the River Liffey, explore the cobblestone streets of the Temple Bar district, and visit landmarks like Trinity College, home to the famous Book of Kells. The Guinness Storehouse is a must-visit for those wanting a taste of Ireland’s brewing history, while Dublin’s pubs are the perfect place to experience traditional Irish music and the warm atmosphere of a "craic" (good time.)
Ireland is filled with iconic landmarks, like the Cliffs of Moher, a dramatic cliffside offering panoramic views over the Atlantic (where I had my own wedding ceremony,) and the ancient Rock of Cashel, a striking medieval site steeped in legends. A popular driving route, the Wild Atlantic Way, runs along Ireland’s western coast, guiding travelers through charming villages, rugged coastlines, and breathtaking landscapes. The Ring of Kerry, another scenic loop, showcases coastal views, green mountains, and ancient stone forts. For history buffs, Ireland is a treasure trove. Its ancient roots are reflected in Neolithic sites like Newgrange, older than the Pyramids of Egypt, as well as countless castles, monasteries, and ruins dotting the countryside.
Many visitors enjoy exploring the legendary landscape of Connemara or learning about Ireland’s Celtic heritage and mythology, filled with tales of fairies, giants, and heroic warriors. Ireland’s landscape is perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and fishing. Many come to explore the serene lakes of Killarney National Park, hike the Wicklow Mountains, or kayak along Ireland’s coastlines and rivers. Ireland’s beaches, especially in areas like Donegal and Dingle, are also beautiful, with many hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
Irish cuisine has gained a reputation for using fresh, local ingredients, especially in seafood and dairy products. Traditional dishes include hearty stews, soda bread, and fresh seafood chowder. Irish pubs are also known for serving comforting meals along with classic drinks like Irish whiskey and stout.
Ireland’s unpredictable weather can mean rain one minute and sunshine the next, so it’s always a good idea to bring layers. This ever-changing climate, however, contributes to the lush greenery that Ireland is famous for, creating a landscape that is as vibrant as it is varied.
Overall, Ireland is a country of welcoming people, fascinating history, and unforgettable scenery. Whether you’re exploring the lively streets of Dublin, wandering through medieval ruins, or taking in the coastal beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland offers travelers a warm, heartfelt experience that will leave lasting memories.

We flew into Rome. Ron was so insightful to plan our trip in late fall, far away from tourist season! Rome wasn't so crowded, so we could easily see all the historic and archaeological sites. Ron planned just the right amount of time there, and planned our trains to Florence and then Venice, both beautiful and interesting cities. We spent 10 days there altogether. It was a perfect trip! Thank you Ron!

Ron did a great job planning our trip to Alberta, Canada. We spent time in Jasper, what a beautiful National Park! We went to the museum there and stayed in a lodge. Then on to Banff, another gorgeous National Park. We went to the Fairmont Hot Springs and an interesting Cave and Basin National Historic Site. And another cozy lodge! Ron planned the whole trip perfectly. What a great experience!

Thank you Ron for creating the best travel plans for me and my wife to celebrate our anniversary across Japan. We had no idea how we would have ever gotten to see so much of Japan had we tried to do this on our own. We highly commend you for all of your recommendations, tips, communication and advice. We almost felt like we traveled the country like pros thanks to you lol and all your insights from having been here so many times.
From our flight into Tokyo, to our travel to Osaka, Kyoto (wife loved all the history and culture) to Sapporo, it simply could not have a went any smoother.
You sir are on our speed dial for next year as we begin thinking of other trip ideas that you were so kind to share. Thank you thank you thank you! Happy wife happy life!

Best Trip Ever!! Ireland ????
Ron,
Our family cannot thank you enough for all the hard work and dedication you put into our over the moon trip to Ireland. ????
Your recommendations were spot on and we already want to go back like now. There’s no way our family could have done this without you putting together a very doable itinerary and getting to see so much during our two weeks. We will be sending our friends and family your way to book travel anytime they go to Europe or Ireland. We have so much trust in you and you having been all over the world saved us lots of money. We could have never figured it out without you. Thank you!! The Bales Family.
