Copenhagen
Copenhagen

Denmark, a small yet charming Scandinavian country, is an ideal destination for travelers who appreciate history, nature, and modern design. With an excellent public transportation system, cycling-friendly cities, and stunning landscapes, exploring Denmark is both easy and enjoyable. Whether you’re visiting bustling cities or peaceful coastal towns, getting around is convenient thanks to Denmark’s well-connected trains, buses, and ferries. Public transport is efficient, and travelers can take advantage of Eurail and Interrail passes for extensive train travel. Cycling is also a popular way to explore, especially in cities like Copenhagen and Aarhus, where dedicated bike lanes make it safe and enjoyable. For those venturing into Denmark’s scenic countryside, renting a car provides flexibility, while ferries offer access to the country’s many picturesque islands.

Copenhagen, the vibrant capital, is a must-visit, home to iconic attractions such as Tivoli Gardens, Nyhavn, The Little Mermaid, and the unique urban ski slope, CopenHill. The city also boasts a dynamic food scene, from cozy cafés to world-renowned restaurants like Noma. Aarhus, Denmark’s second-largest city, offers a mix of history and modern culture, with highlights like the ARoS Art Museum, the open-air museum Den Gamle By, and the scenic Moesgaard Museum. Odense, the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen, invites visitors to explore fairytale-like streets and museums dedicated to the famous writer. Ribe, Denmark’s oldest town, is a delight for history lovers, featuring a Viking Center and well-preserved medieval architecture. Further north, Skagen’s stunning coastal landscapes and the mesmerizing meeting point of the North and Baltic Seas at Grenen provide breathtaking views. For a more off-the-beaten-path experience, the Baltic island of Bornholm offers dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches, and historic round churches.

Danish cuisine is an essential part of the travel experience, from traditional smørrebrød (open-faced sandwiches) to delicious Danish pastries. New Nordic Cuisine, pioneered by Copenhagen’s top restaurants, emphasizes fresh, local ingredients in innovative dishes. For a truly Danish experience, visiting a hygge café is a must, where warm lighting, cozy interiors, and comforting drinks create a uniquely Scandinavian sense of coziness.

The best time to visit Denmark depends on the experience you seek. Spring (April–June) offers mild weather, blooming flowers, and fewer crowds. Summer (June–August) is the most popular season, with long daylight hours, festivals, and ideal conditions for exploring the outdoors. Autumn (September–November) brings cooler temperatures, beautiful fall colors, and a more relaxed atmosphere. Winter (December–February) transforms Denmark into a cozy wonderland, perfect for Christmas markets, indoor museums, and experiencing the country’s famed winter hygge.

Whether you’re drawn to Denmark’s rich history, scenic landscapes, or modern urban charm, the country offers an unforgettable travel experience.

Trip throughout Japan
Michael made arrangements for us to travel from Tokyo, Mount Fuji and Hakone by bullet train to Osaka, Kyoto and Nara. He arranged all the activities for us and made it so easy! We overnighted in Hiroshima and even visited a Shinto temple on Miyajima. Then back to Osaka and home! We did just the right amount of sightseeing. Michael was a tremendous help and Advisor.

Greek Delight!
My husband and I went to Greece for two weeks, and had the most amazing time. We went island hopping, from Cypress to Rhodes, Crete, Santorini and Mykonos. Michael was tremendously helpful and made sure all of our needs were met. He even made some special plans for our anniversary. We couldn’t have asked for more :)

Turkey
Mike planned our trip to central Turkey. We flew into Ankara and spent a few days there, visiting museums and historical sites. We took the bus to Cappadocia, which was amazing! We then made our way to the old Roman town of Antalya, and the Roman ruins were very interesting. Then we flew back to Istanbul as a finale, stayed 3 days, and flew home. What a fascinating and enjoyable trip!

One of My Top Travel Experiences - Australia
I used them to book my trip to Australia and I was extremely pleased with everything. It started with a conversation of where, when, etc. and it translated into a seamless & well organized trip. My flight to LA with a connecting flight to Melbourne went without a hitch. Mr. Bitsas is well traveled and was able to recommend some places he experienced when he went to Australia. He also connected me to this couple that reside in Australia that further elevated my experience. While in Australia, we mostly stayed in Melbourne but also flew into Sydney, took a ferry, stayed in a chalet, visited several animal parks. It truly was an experience. I loved my flight as I love planes. I appreciated my travel arrangements as all of my questions were answered, flights made, recommendations given and a lasting memory made. Highly recommend using Michael.

Michael was so helpful and attentive. He helped map out details. He had great tips about what to do and where to stay. If I had another trip abroad, I would definitely seek his advice. He truly cared and went that extra mile to plan the trip.
