There is always something to see and do in Vancouver from visiting a museum, to taking in an event, to visiting parks and facilities. The beauty cannot be surpassed.

Nestled on the Pacific Coast of Canada, Vancouver has long been known for its stunning natural beauty, diverse culture, and vibrant urban life. My journey to this coastal gem was a memorable exploration of lush landscapes, cosmopolitan cityscapes, and a deep appreciation for the West Coast's unique charm.Day 1: Arrival in Vancouver Upon arrival, the first thing that struck me was the city's proximity to the sea and the surrounding mountains. The scenic drive from the airport to my hotel offered a tantalizing glimpse of the city's striking backdrop. I checked into a cozy downtown hotel, ready to embark on my Vancouver adventure.Day 2: Exploring Stanley Park Stanley Park, one of Vancouver's crown jewels, was my first stop. I spent the day wandering its dense forests, discovering the iconic seawall, and marveling at the collection of First Nations totem poles. The Vancouver Aquarium within the park was another highlight, featuring a wealth of marine life from the Pacific Ocean.Day 3: Granville Island and Public Markets I dedicated my third day to Granville Island, a vibrant hub of art, culture, and culinary delights. The Granville Island Public Market was a food lover's paradise, offering everything from fresh produce to gourmet treats. I explored local galleries, craft studios, and enjoyed street performances by talented buskers.Day 4: Grouse Mountain Adventure Venturing out of the city, I took a trip to Grouse Mountain, a mere 15-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. The Skyride aerial tramway whisked me to the mountaintop, where I enjoyed panoramic views of the city and surrounding wilderness. Activities like zip-lining and bear-watching made this a memorable day.Day 5: Day Trip to Whistler A short drive north led me to Whistler, a world-renowned ski resort that's equally captivating in the summer. The charming alpine village was a perfect place to relax and explore. I took a gondola ride to the top of Whistler Mountain, where I hiked through wildflower-filled meadows with breathtaking vistas.Day 6: Capilano Suspension Bridge Park I ventured to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, where I tested my fear of heights on the swaying suspension bridge that spans across the Capilano River. The treetop walkways offered a unique perspective of the lush temperate rainforest.Day 7: Exploring Vancouver's Neighborhoods Exploring the city's diverse neighborhoods became my focus. I strolled through Gastown, known for its iconic steam clock, and wandered through Chinatown's bustling markets. Then, I made my way to trendy Yaletown and enjoyed the picturesque waterfront views at Coal Harbour.Day 8: Day Trip to Victoria and Butchart Gardens A ferry ride across the Strait of Georgia took me to Victoria, the capital of British Columbia. I visited the exquisite Butchart Gardens, a masterpiece of horticultural artistry. The historic architecture and gardens of Victoria's inner harbor were also a treat.Day 9: Farewell to Vancouver As my trip came to a close, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the unforgettable experiences Vancouver had offered. I savored my last moments by revisiting Stanley Park, taking a leisurely bike ride along the seawall, and reflecting on the beauty of this coastal paradise. My journey to Vancouver was an exploration of a city that seamlessly blends urban sophistication with the awe-inspiring wonders of nature. From mountain vistas to lush rainforests and captivating neighborhoods, Vancouver's diverse offerings left me with a deep appreciation for the Pacific Paradise that is Vancouver, British Columbia.

Highly Recommended
We were a little hesitant to use a travel agent for our big trip, having never used one. Carol was a delight to work with. She made sure we were at ease, and answered all our questions. Our trip turned out wonderful and the stress was minimal thanks to Carol putting together everything we needed.

Family time away
Our family trip to the capital was talked about for years, but never planned. I really needed help to plan and coordinate all 6 of us coming from different directions, to this one location.
I contacted Carol who was very pleasant to talk to. She made sure all the details were taken care of, and contacted me to make sure nothing was missed. I appreciated all her efforts and late night talks, in order to make everything flow smoothly.
We had such a great family vacation because of Carol's awesome help.
