Montana Travel Agent Expert
Montana, known as the Treasure State, is a must-visit destination for outdoor enthusiasts and first-time visitors alike. Boasting breathtaking landscapes, captivating wildlife, and exciting culinary experiences, Montana offers unforgettable experiences for just about everyone. As a travel agent professional for Montana, I can't wait to share all the details. The following information gives you top sites to visit as well as some of the dishes you’ll have to sample along the way. 1. Glacier National Park Topping the list of Montana's must-see destinations is Glacier National Park. Covering over one million acres of crystal-clear lakes, towering peaks, and vibrant wildflower meadows, this natural wonderland is truly a sight to behold. It offers various hiking trails that focus on stunning scenery opportunities to spotting rare and majestic wildlife. Some of the animals include mountain goats, grizzly bears, pikas, and bighorn sheep. 2. Yellowstone National Park Yellowstone National Park stretches into Montana from neighboring Wyoming and is world-renowned for its geothermal attractions like the Old Faithful geyser. This expansive park also highlights a vast array of wildlife like bison and elk, making it perfect for both nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. Be sure to stop by the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone. You can visit it any day of the year - a great place to take the family. Some of the exhibits include wolf habitats, bird habitats, and an educational museum. You can also view river otters along with amphibians and other water critters. The exhibits are both inside and outside at the site. 3. The Lewis and Clark Caverns Located near the Missouri River Headwaters State Park, the Lewis and Clark Caverns lets you explore an incredible underground world full of intricate limestone formations. Guided tours are available so you can navigate this complex subterranean landscape safely and confidently. 4. Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument commemorates the historic Battle of Little Bighorn between U.S Army forces and Native American tribes. Visitors can explore museums, exhibits, or join ranger-led programs to learn more about the battle's history. Read more about the history of the site here. Montana is one state worth exploring, as it is home to various terrains. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of the Rockies or the wide open spaces of Glacier National Park. Alpine peaks and snow-capped peaks are highlighted along the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road, which stretches over 50 miles. Spring Skiing at the Big Sky Resort and Showdown If you love skiing, then I recommend a trip to the Big Sky Resort, which offers spring skiing. In fact, March is the snowiest month of the winter season and a peak time for skiers. You can also enjoy great skiing in Showdown. Other Activities Want to stargaze? Try Hyalite Canyon, which is a short distance south of Bozeman. You can also ice climb in the winter or rock climb in the summer. Or, try horseback riding in the backcountry in Yellowstone. Love to shop. Then you’ll want to visit the biggest mall in the state - Rimrock Mall. Local Dishes for First-Time Visitors 1. Bison Burger One of Montana's most popular dishes is the bison burger, which offers a healthier alternative to conventional beef burgers while still delivering delicious flavors You'll find bison patties served with various toppings in local restaurants across the state. 2. Huckleberry Pie Huckleberries thrive in Montana's wilderness, so it's only fitting that huckleberry pie is a local favorite. This sweet and tangy dessert can be enjoyed at bakeries and cafes throughout the Treasure State. 3. Rocky Mountain Oysters For a truly unique Montana dining experience, try Rocky Mountain Oysters. Be warned – these "oysters'' are actually deep-fried bull testicles, but they are considered a delicacy among locals and visitors alike. 4. Pasties Montana's mining heritage has left its mark on the state's culinary scene with the adoption of pasties, flavorful meat-filled pies often packed with beef, potatoes, onions, and seasonings. You'll find them served in restaurants and pubs throughout Montana. Wind’s Pasties in Anaconda has been making the breakfast pie since 1959. There’s no doubt about it. Montana offers an array of captivating travel sites and culinary delights for both first-time or seasoned visitors. From the awe-inspiring landscapes of Glacier National Park to sampling exotic local dishes like Rocky Mountain Oysters, there's truly something for everyone. As your travel agent advisor, I look forward to planning a breathtaking holiday to Montana. Let’s begin today.

Great Trip to ABQ & the scenic Enchanted Circ
Trenton was great! He handled our recent stay in Albuquerque & we had an amazing time in Old Town. Then we took a scenic drive on the Enchanted Circle from Santa Fe, Taos, Angel Fire & Eagles Nest up to Raton.
