Greece Travel Agent Expert

Have you ever dreamed of traveling to Greece? If so, I would like to help plan your dream vacation to this vibrant country as your travel agent professional.  Sitting in southeastern Europe in the south of the Balkan Peninsula, Greece borders the lovely Mediterranean Sea in the south and stretches along the Ionian Sea in the west.  Other countries that lie next to Greece include Bulgaria, Turkey, Albania, and the Republic of Macedonia. If you’re seeking a Mediterranean climate, a historic getaway, and a picture-postcard escape, Greece will be sure to please. So, what sites would you like to see? The following attractions are wonderful additions to any travel itinerary to Greece. 1. Acropolis of Athens: The ancient citadel located on a rocky outcrop in the heart of Athens is home to iconic structures like the Parthenon and Erechtheion, and offers panoramic views of the city. 2. Santorini: This picturesque island paradise in the Aegean Sea features white-washed buildings with blue domes, stunning cliffs, and pristine black sand beaches. 3. Meteora Monasteries: Six Eastern Orthodox monasteries dramatically perched atop towering rock formations in Central Greece provide a unique cultural experience and exceptional scenic beauty. 4. Delphi: A significant archaeological site, Delphi is famous as the ancient sanctuary that housed the Oracle of Apollo, offering insights into Ancient Greek history and mythology. 5. Mykonos: Known for its vibrant nightlife and golden sandy beaches, Mykonos is a popular holiday destination featuring traditional Cycladic architecture and charming winding streets. 6. Samaria Gorge: At 16 km long, this natural wonder on the island of Crete offers a challenging but rewarding hike through mesmerizing landscapes leading to the beautiful Libyan Sea. 7. Ancient Olympia: The birthplace of the Olympic Games, Olympia is an archaeological site showcasing numerous ancient ruins, including the Temple of Zeus and the stadium where athletes competed. 8. Corinth Canal: An impressive engineering feat completed in 1893, this narrow canal connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf, providing breathtaking vistas for visitors. 9. Knossos Palace: Located on Crete, this expansive Bronze Age palace complex is believed to be Europe's oldest city and offers a fascinating insight into Minoan civilization. 10. Mount Athos: A self-governed monastic state home to 20 Eastern Orthodox monasteries, Mount Athos requires special permits for visitors but offers a serene spiritual experience amidst natural beauty. You’ll never experience ancient history like you do in Greece. Consider this - Greece is filled with so much of this type of history, it will truly intrigue you. In fact, Greece has over 18 UNESCO sites.  Whether you love history or not, you’ll want to take time to see the Acropolis, the Temple of Olympian, Dolos (the open-air museum), and the Parthenon. You’ll also want to devour the Greek cuisine. One of Greece’s popular fast foods is souvlaki, which are skewers of pork, served with onions and tomatoes on pitta bread with tzatziki (cucumber and garlic yogurt).  Stop by one of the tavernas, which feature local pork, lamb, and goat - all favorite meats. Another favorite dish, gyros, are made from a combination of beef and lamb, or from lamb or chicken, generously seasoned with spices, herbs, and salt - a wonderful explosion of flavors. Are you ready to travel? He's my one and only travel agent
I found Philip online when I was planning my first trip to France. I'm so glad I did! He was so patient learning my interests and expectations. The vacation truly exceeded my expectations. He took great care picking locations, selecting the hotels and excursions. We had the most charming upscale inn in Paris, a fabulous view in Nice and pampering spa in Aix. Next, he made my solo trip to Ireland and Amsterdam easy and memorable. Everything spot on!

Terrific agent!
Thanks for planning our fantastic trip to Greece. We were overwhelmed with our choices after reading a mountain of travel books and online reviews. You were so patient helping us sort through all of our ideas. Your itinerary was perfect the way you combined the Greek Islands with the mainland. Your suggestions to include Meteora Delphi and Napllion were brilliant. Sue and Dave W, Portland, OR

The honeymoon we never had came true
Philip put together our long postponed honeymoon to Italy. Everything was flawless. He was easily accessible when we had one problem finding our airport transfer in Naples. The selection of upscale hotels and itinerary were unique and memorable. We love food and drink and he set us up with some great cooking classes. He'll be our agent for our anniversary travel.
