Missouri Travel Agent Advisor

St. Louis is a one of a kind town that offers more than meets the eye. I would love to be your travel advisor to this historic city by the Mississippi River. St Louis is something to truly behold.St. Louis is called the Gateway to the West. Its nickname resulted once the historic Arch was built. Approaching St Louis from the east will give you a beautiful view of The Arch with downtown St Louis in the background. In 2018 The Gateway Arch officially became a National Park and is considered the tallest man made structure in the Western Hemisphere. Standing 630 feet in the air it really is a sight to behold. The view from the ground is almost as inspiring as the view from the top.  A short tram ride up the inside of The Arch brings you to the scenic observation deck. Here you will experience views of downtown St Louis and the mighty Mississippi River that you will find nowhere else. Photos from this vantage point are bound to be spectacular.Once your feet are back on solid ground take a look around underneath The Arch at the newly built Museum at the Gateway Arch. An interactive display telling the story of Westward expansion as well as the building of The Arch through the eyes of St. Louis is sure to delight both young and old. Upon exiting the museum you will be looking at the iconic Old Courthouse, home to some of the most historical cases ever heard in our country, including the Dred & Harriet Scott Case. The Old Courthouse is now a museum that lets you explore life from a time long ago while highlighting cases and people who put the Old Courthouse on the map.Downtown St. Louis hosts Union Station which is a National Historic Landmark train station. It functioned as a train station from 1894 to 1978. Union Station now hosts a 3D light show every night in the Grand Hall, as well as a fire and light show at Union Station's own small lake.  The St. Louis Union Station Hotel is still open and operational although very much updated and designed to bring modern amenities and history together. Union Station has a beautiful 200 foot Ferris Wheel (open year round) that boasts amazing views of the St. Louis downtown area (another perfect picture opportunity). Union Station also plays host to the St. Louis Aquarium. This beautiful 120,000 square foot aquarium houses marine life from all over the globe. Unlike most, this hands-on, interactive aquarium gives adults and kids alike the opportunity to immerse themselves in oceans, rivers, and streams that make up our world. Moving just west of downtown you are met with Forest Park, a 1300 acre urban park in the heart of St. Louis’ Central West End. Home to the 1904 World Fair, Forest Park now houses some of the area's most popular attractions in St. Louis. The park boasts beautiful and functional landscaping, lakes and streams, and marvelous walking trails. It is home to the St. Louis Zoo, one of the few remaining free zoos in the country, which is known worldwide for its conservation, research, and education efforts. Forest Park also is home to the St. Louis Science Center, a completely hands on and admission free science center. Kids and adults alike can delight in the ever changing exhibits, live experiments, planetarium, and Imax movie theatre. If art and culture is your style  then I suggest you visit the stunning Art Hill and St. Louis Art Museum. From the top of Art Hill you can look down on the beauty of one of the many lakes that are in the magnificent Forest Park. The summer months offer outdoor movie showings , Shakespeare in the Park plays, and live music events. In  winter you can watch kids and adults participating in the St. Louis tradition of sledding down Art Hill. Turning around you will be greeted by the world renowned St. Louis Art Museum. With works that span the globe and encompass over 5,000 years of history, this three story art museum also plays host to many traveling exhibits throughout the year. The Muny at Forest Park is the country’s largest and oldest outdoor theater.   The Muny presents seven musicals from all genres in the evenings during the summer months. The Muny has become another one of many St. Louis traditions and St. Louis must experiences. In addition to its outstanding scientific, historical and artistic venues, St. Louis is home to several of the best sports teams in the country. The St. Louis Blues (NHL) made it to the playoffs 45 times in their history and won the Stanley Cup in 2019. The St. Louis Cardinals (MLB) (NL) have made it to the World Series 19 times, winning 11 World Series titles. The Battlehawks (XFL) is returning to St. Louis in 2023. St. Louis City (SC) is set to have their first season in their brand new stadium in Downtown St. Louis. St. Louis offers so much for the sports fan!A visit to St. Louis is an incredible journey that has something for everyone. I would love to be your guide to this unique and memorable destination.

Romantic Kid Free Getaway!!
Beautiful romantic week to Key Largo planned completely by Heather. My husband and I both work full time, and are full time parents so anytime we get alone together is rare and means a lot. With that said, our week long vacation to Key Largo meant the world to us both. We flew into Miami, had a fun, sporty, no kids allowed, rental car waiting for us upon arrival, checked into our hotel steps from the pristine beach and the gorgeous blue water. Heather planned all of our excursions with our highlight being the glass bottom boat tour. It was truly magical and a vacation we will remember forever. Heather made everything so easy and carefree. She was just as excited for us to go as we were to go. I will email her any and every time we are planning a trip or getaway. She is wonderful!
