With these attractions alone, Belize is a country that will leave you in awe. It is a place that is full of wonder, beauty, and adventure. I would love the opportunity to show you what Belize has to offer.Belize is a country with a census smaller than many United States cities such as Atlanta Georgia and Miami Florida. Its tiny population of just over 400,000 resides primarily in Belize City. Belize boasts over 600 Mayan sites across its 8,867 square miles. Choosing a site might seem daunting, but I can help guide you on the perfect Mayan Ruin adventure! If you will be staying close to Belize City, Altun Ha is a good choice. If you will be enjoying an extended trip, Xunantunich, on the Western portion of Belize’s Cayo district, is another popular site. For the very adventurous, and very physically fit, touring Actun Tunichil Muknal cave is an opportunity to experience a truly wild excursion. Altun Ha is the most accessible ruins site and a visit can be added as an excursion on one of the many cruises to Belize. At Altun Ha in addition to the fascinating ruins you will see where the carved jade head, Kinich Ahau, was created. This gorgeous jade carving depicts the Mayan Sun God and was carved solely with stone tools. Xunantunich, located close to the Guatemalan border, home to the second largest pyramid in Belize. El Castillo stands 130 feet tall and offers views of the Cayo District spanning over westward to Guatemala. Xunantunich isn’t accessible by foot. Visitors reach the ruins either on horseback or by ferry on the Mopan River. Once arriving at Xunantunich you can choose between a guided tour or you can easily reach it by car. Actun Tunichil Muknal, known also as ATM cave, is an adventure for the truly thrill seeking, athletic tourist. Only accessible by a licensed Belizean tour guide, you will be astounded by this trip. Beginning with hiking across both jungle and river terrains and ending by meeting the famous “Crystal Maiden'' you will not be disappointed. Excellent physical endurance and strong swimming skills are required for this tour and it is not recommended for those who have health issues, are very young or are claustrophobic. Belize also boasts more than 400 islands known as the Cayes. Here is where you will discover the Belize Barrier Reef, that second largest barrier reef in the world. The Belize Barrier Reef is a Unesco World Heritage site and encompases seven protected marine parks and reserves. Anyone with a love for marine life will be delighted by visiting the Belize Barrier Reef. Visitors can see and experience sharks, sea turtles, sting rays, hundreds of reef fish, and magnificent coral. Travelers are also able to snorkel and scuba dive here as well as participate in fishing and sailing activities. One of the most spectacular attractions in Belize, at the Belize Barrier Reef, is The Great Blue Hole. The Great Blue Hole is an enormous sinkhole in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. The Hole is 984 feet across and is 410 feet deep. It is the largest natural formation of its kind in the world and boasts crystal clear water. The sight of it alone will leave you full of wonder and mystery at what might lie at the bottom. While you are able to dive at The Great Blue Hole you will need to be diver certified as well fill out a form from the Belize Tourism Board.. These are just a few of the wonders that await you in Belize. Belize is a country that has stolen my heart with its beauty, diversity, adventure, and people. Romantic Kid Free Getaway!!

Beautiful romantic week to Key Largo planned completely by Heather. My husband and I both work full time, and are full time parents so anytime we get alone together is rare and means a lot. With that said, our week long vacation to Key Largo meant the world to us both. We flew into Miami, had a fun, sporty, no kids allowed, rental car waiting for us upon arrival, checked into our hotel steps from the pristine beach and the gorgeous blue water. Heather planned all of our excursions with our highlight being the glass bottom boat tour. It was truly magical and a vacation we will remember forever. Heather made everything so easy and carefree. She was just as excited for us to go as we were to go. I will email her any and every time we are planning a trip or getaway. She is wonderful!
