If you go to Florida, you certainly would be regretful if you did not visit a beach. After all, who does not think about Florida and does not add beach activities to their list of pursuits? One of the best family locations to visit for a beach vacation is Destin. People love Destin because it is home to white sand beaches, plenty of sunshine, and the Gulf water breeze. Plus, Destin is one of the most affordable beach towns in Florida. Resorts and vacation rentals can be found near popular stretches of sand at Crystal Beach or June White Decker Park. If you want a quieter beach experience, I would suggest paying a visit to Henderson Beach State Park. Of course, I cannot mention a Florida beach trip without highlighting a vacation to Sanibel Island, one of the more peaceful shorelines in Florida. People who visit the beach in Sanibel spend time shelling, or collecting seashells. You can discover some greta finds in places, such as Blind Pass Beach or Bowman's Beach. If you wish to escape to the beach but want to stay close to city amenities, I recommend, as your travel agent advisor, a trip to St. Petersburg. You will also like the sunny climate, as St. Petersburg holds the record worldwide for successive days of sunshine. If you like kiteboarding, parasailing, or windsurfing, head to Pass-a-Grille Beach. The Shell Key Preserve is the ideal locale for seeing shorebirds or admiring the setting sun. Siesta Key is a great spot for a Florida beach holiday for a couple or a family. The barrier island, which was highlighted on Siesta Key, an MTV show, sits off Sarasota's coast. White quartz sands span over 8 miles, with featured amenities, such as nightly entertainment, shopping and dining.
