Brazil is the largest country in South America, the fifth-largest globally, and the longest nation on the planet. It is a beautiful country. Carnaval is famous throughout the world. Unfortunately, the cities of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo are no longer safe, but that does not mean you cannot enjoy this festival. The neighboring small cities all celebrate with their parades and incredible costumes, and do not forget samba. It is such a happy time.
Brazilians as a whole are amicable and happy people. Our biodiversity is incredible. Remember Disney's movie "Rio." You can see all those toucans, scarlet macaws, capybara, and thousands of other living species. In Salvador, Bahia you can see the Baianas de Acarajé (intangible cultural heritage of Brazil) and taste their acarajé. The African ancestors came as enslaved people from the Gulf of Benin in West Africa. This traditional sacred food is also an offering to the orixás.
The white sandy beaches adorn the coast of Brazil. Copacabana is undoubtedly one of the top beaches located in Rio de Janeiro. Who doesn't remember the Girl from Ipanema sung by Astrud Gilberto? That is another one of our famous beaches. But it doesn't end there. From northeastern to the southernmost tip of Brazil, you will find incredible beaches.
