I don’t know anyone--young or old, single or married--who does not like Disney. The word translates to “magic” as soon as you hear it. That is why I am always excited to plan a trip to Disney Universal Orlando. Being a travel agent specialist for...

Kentucky Travel Agent Expert

I love representing Kentucky as a travel agent specialist because of its unique personality. The state is both rustic and down-to-earth and offers elite and exciting activities. One of these activities is the two-week festival celebrated before the official running of the renowned Kentucky Derby. Many visitors plan vacations during the last part of April and the first Saturday in May to take part in the activities and the race. The southeastern state is bounded by the Appalachian Mountain range to the east, and is home to Frankfort, the state capital. The Ohio River flows in the northern section, known for its horses and bluegrass. Have you ever been curious about all the different travel attractions in Kentucky? Well, now is your chance to explore them all! From stunning natural scenery to interesting historical sites, there is something for everyone who visits this country paradise. Below are just a few of the many travel attractions in Kentucky that you can enjoy: The Kentucky Horse Park is a must-see for all horse lovers. Situated in the heart of horse country, this park offers visitors the chance to learn all about the history and future of the horse. There are also plenty of opportunities to see some of the world's finest horses in action. That’s because the park is an actual working horse farm and an international equestrian site for horseback riding competitions. The educational theme park debuted in 1978 in Lexington, Kentucky.  For those who enjoy the great outdoors, the Daniel Boone National Forest is a must-visit attraction. With over 500,000 acres of forests to explore, there is no shortage of things to see and do. Whether you enjoy hiking, camping, or just taking in the scenery, the Daniel Boone National Forest is sure to please you. If you’re a history buff, you’ll love visiting the Kentucky History Museum. Here you can learn all about the rich history of Kentucky, from its early days as a frontier state to its role in the Civil War. The museum also features a variety of interactive exhibits, making it a great place for the whole family to see and enjoy. Because the state is known for its natural beauty and historical landmarks, it’s always a pleasure for me to arrange holidays. For example, one of the most popular travel attractions in Kentucky is the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.  This trail features some of the best bourbon distilleries in the world. During their sojourn, visitors learn about the history and process of bourbon production. Other popular travel attractions in Kentucky include the Louisville Zoo and the Cincinnati Zoo as well. These attractions offer a great opportunity to  see some amazing wildlife. Also known as the Louisville Zoological Gardens, the Louisville Zoo is home to an African petting zoo that is open year-round. The attraction sits near the zoo’s elephant exhibit and children can interact and pet animals, such as Nigerian dwarf goats, under staff supervision. A washing station is featured inside the petting zoo. You can also feed lorikeets with nectar right from your hand, take one of the challenging rope courses, feed giraffes, or ride camels. I can arrange a thoroughly entertaining adventure. You might also want to pay a visit to Louisville’s Slugger Museum - a must-see attraction for any baseball fan.  The museum features the history of the Louisville Slugger Company and covers the manufacturing process of the famous baseball bats. Also, you’ll want to trek or cycle over The Big Four Bridge - a pedestrian bridge that spans the Ohio River between Louisville and Jeffersonville, Indiana. The bridge is a great place to walk or bike and offers stunning views of the river and the city. These are just a few of the many travel attractions in Kentucky. If you are looking for a unique and exciting vacation, Kentucky is the place to be. You’ll be singing “My Old Kentucky Home” in no time. Let’s start planning your Kentucky holiday. I look forward to serving you as your Kentucky travel agent professional.
