Turks and Caicos Travel Agent Expert
Representing the Turks and Caicos Islands (commonly known as TCI), a group of 40 coral isles in the Atlantic Ocean, is one of the rewards of working as a travel agent advisor. The group of islands lies southeast of the Bahamas, and is known as British Overseas Territory. One of the well-known islands is Providenciales, better known as Provo, located beside stunning Grace Bay Beach. There are five-star hotels, dive sites, and restaurants along this popular shoreline. An underwater wall off Grand Turk Island's shore and a 14-mile coral reef barrier on Provo’s north beach are TCI natural highlights. Any photo of picture-perfect beaches you've used as desktop screensavers were probably taken in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Despite being a less-traveled region, the Caribbean island chain is home to some of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. The sand is so white it glistens like jewels, and the light cerulean water is so transparent, your eyes naturally touch the bottom. The Turks and Caicos Islands prioritize the outdoors in contrast to other developed Caribbean isles, so plan to spend a lot of time in and around the picture-perfect waters. The major activities are snorkeling, scuba diving, boating, and sunbathing. Therefore, take a fast journey to this British territory to experience a quick getaway. There isn’t a more beautiful place in the world to which you can make this type of escape. The biggest travel seasons on the islands are during the major holiday seasons, particularly December through January, and March through April. These months represent peak travel seasons, so you’ll spend more money during these times of year. However, a lot of tourists think that the spring season, which lasts from February to April, is the best time to visit Turks and Caicos Islands because it strikes the ideal mix between nice weather, reasonable pricing, and a variety of lodging options. Avoid the weekends around the holidays to receive the best travel deals. The Big South Regatta, one of the major occasions on the islands, takes place every last weekend in May. On South Caicos, the annual yacht race provides visitors with plenty of excitement and entertainment. The Conch Festival, which takes place on Providenciales every year during the last weekend in November, is another notable annual event you’ll want to include on your travel calendar. The official name of the country is The Turks and Caicos Islands, however most people just call it "Turks and Caicos" or "TCI." It is incorrect to call the collection of islands the "Turks" or "Caicos." English is widely spoken, and the US dollar is the primary currency on the islands. The islands use 120v, 60Hz electricity, making power adapters unnecessary. All aircraft land at Providenciales International Airport (PLS). From the airport facility, passengers can take the Caicos Express or InterCaribbean to get around. Both local airlines offer regularly scheduled flights. Many visitors board cruise ships at the only cruise ship dock on the islands, the Grand Turk Cruise Center near Grand Turk's southernmost point. Another alternative for getting between islands is by boat. Although there are no trains or buses on the islands, you can travel around by taxi or rental car. Taxis are accessible on Providenciales, Grand Turk, and North and Middle Caicos; they are frequently quite expensive. Large vans that carry multiple passengers along the same route make up the majority of taxis. Conch Cab, a well-known taxi service that can be called via an app, iis similar to Uber, and solely serves Providenciales. Remember that driving is done on the left, not the right side of the road, if you decide to drive yourself. On highways, the top speed restriction is 40 mph, whereas in towns it is 20 mph. As a travel agent and advisor for TCI, I just know you'll adore the Turks & Caicos Islands. For all the specifics right now, give me a call or send me an email. I'll do everything in my power, as your go-to travel agency specialist, to make sure your trip is one you won't soon forget.
