Cape Cod Travel Agent Specialist

Cape Cod is a magical place  on the Northeast Coast of the U.S. Not only is it romantic, it is also a historic destination that is as inviting to visit during the spring and summer as it is during the fall and winter months. If you’re seeking some R&R, adventure, or a romantic getaway, you only have to call on me. I will work diligently as your Cape Cod travel agent specialist - from the beginning of your journey to the end. I’ll be there to take care of the details so you can truly enjoy yourself. So, where exactly is Cape Cod? This is something some people ask. They want to get a  precise view of where they’re going and get an idea of the landscape. Cape Cod represents a hook-shaped peninsula - a stretch of sand that takes up most of Barnstable County in southeast Massachusetts. It extends 105 kilometers or 65 miles into the Atlantic Ocean and displays a breadth between 10 and 20 miles. It is bounded by Cape Cod Bay in the north and east, Buzzards Bay to the west, and the Nantucket and Vineyard sounds in the south. Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket sit directly south as well. Therefore, one of the main attractions of Cape Cod is the Cape Cod National Seashore - an idyllic place for summer vacationing - offering activities for all abilities and ages. Needless to say, you also have plenty of beaches to explore - some of which are hailed as the best in the U.S. As I like to say - explore the shores and great outdoors when you’re planning a Cape Cod holiday. Cape Cod National Seashore is also home to several historic sites and museums. Plus, no trip is complete to the area without feasting on the local seafood! Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an action-packed getaway, Cape Cod National Seashore has something for everyone.  If you wish to explore Cape Cod and the surrounding area, I suggest you add the following destinations to your travel itinerary.

1. Provincetown – This charming town is located at the very tip of Cape Cod and is known for its vibrant art scene and lively nightlife. There are also plenty of great shops, restaurants, and cafes to enjoy.

2. Cape Cod National Seashore – I can’t boast enough about this wonderful escape. It is a gorgeous area of natural beauty that includes over 40 miles of pristine beaches. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing beach day or a hike through the dunes in quieter times.

3. Sandwich – This historic town is Cape Cod’s oldest and is home to a number of interesting museums and sites, including the Sandwich Glass Museum and the Hoxie House.

4. Falmouth – Falmouth is a popular summer resort town with a number of great beaches, restaurants, and shops. It’s home to a variety of events and festivals throughout the year as well. Also, I don’t want to leave out the Cape Cod Irish Festival, which takes place in Hyannis during St. Patrick’s Day.

5. Chatham – Chatham is a beautiful coastal town with a number of scenic beaches and hiking trails. It’s also a great place for fishing, whale watching, and bird watching activities.

6. The Cape Cod Rail Trail - This 22-mile paved trail is perfect for biking, hiking, or just taking a leisurely stroll. It runs through some of the most scenic parts of Cape Cod, and there are plenty of places to stop along the way to enjoy the views.

7. The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History - This museum is a great place to learn about the history and ecology of Cape Cod. There are all sorts of exhibits to check out. The museum also offers programs and events for both kids and adults.

8. The Cape Cod Melody Tent - This open-air amphitheater is a spectacular place to go to see live music and theater. The Tent hosts a variety of performances throughout the summer, and it's one of the best spots to enjoy a show under the stars.

9. The Cape Cod Canal - This artificial waterway is the place to go for a walk, bike ride, or just to sit and relax. The Canal is also a popular spot for fishing. There's even a Visitors Center where you can learn more about its history. As your travel agent advisor for Cape Cod, I will profile your travel likes and dislikes so I can arrange a personalized holiday. Give me a call now and let’s start planning your perfect vacation. I look forward to hearing from you so we can design the ideal vacation - just for you!
