Santa Fe Travel Agent Expert

Do you know the way to Santa Fe? If not, as your travel agent advisor for Santa Fe, I am about to show you how to get to your next vacation destination. You definitely want to add Santa Fe to your travel bucket list, as it has a unique character and personality. The capital city of New Mexico, Santa Fe is found in the Sangre de Cristo foothills and is known for its Pueblo dwellings and creative works of art. Santa Fe began as a Spanish colony in 1610, long before the founding of the U.S. The city's heart is its traditional plaza which provides a hub for the city's historic district. The center of town leads to adobe and historic landmarks, such as the former Palace of the Governors, which is now the New Mexico History Museum. Once a remote Spanish outpost, Santa Fe is blissfully a one-of-a-kind American city.  The city's small cluster of mud-colored adobes in New Mexico's northern mountains seem to be inspired by dreams, as the city has the largest number of artists and writers in the U.S. For example, one half-mile span of road features over 80 art galleries - a testament to the city's emphasis on individuality. Therefore, you might say the fabric of the city is a by-product of creativity. Many of the buildings, built in the downtown area in the early 1900s, were made to attract tourists. What keeps the city grounded is its location in the mountains - you can see a mountain view, whether you are dining at a resort or in town, or relaxing poolside at your hotel.  Santa Fe also offers activities galore. You can travel out of town and reach a trailhead in only 10 minutes or find a slope to ski in about 30 minutes. Many trip-goers like to roam the ochre-shaded hills of Abiquiu, featured in Santa Fe artist Georgia O'Keeffe's artwork. If you travel east of Santa Fe, you will reach the Pecos Wilderness Area - a place that is home to magnificent summits, such as Truchas Peak. As your travel agent, I would like to introduce you to Santa Fe and its highlights. For example, The Ten Thousand Waves is a Japanese-styled spa  that offers the ultimate mountain resort getaway - a place for pampering and healing. I would also like to suggest the Bandelier National Monument, where you can spend the day, exploring the valley, once hidden, in Frijoles Canyon. Here is where ancestors of the Pueblo tribe built a massive city among cliffside cave dwellings. If you wish to explore the backcountry, I suggest the Valles Caldera National Preserve - a place where you will usually see elk more than hikers. Also, Ghost Ranch is a must-see attraction - the place where artist, Georgia O'Keeffe, stayed, set against beautiful cliffs and dramatic pinnacles. Hike or horseback to Chimney Rock to see what inspired her. I also like to recommend Santuario de Chimayo, a village church located north of Santa Fe. Its ground is known for its powers of healing. Let's talk and discuss your travel plans to Santa Fe now. Call me or email me today and let's design the perfect Santa Fe getaway!
