If you want to travel to a beautiful and idyllic place in Arizona - one that is peaceful and tranquil, I highly recommend a trip to Sedona. As a travel agent specialist for Sedona, I can arrange a getaway that will fit your unique tastes and personality. Sedona is considered one of the most beautiful places in the U.S. and for good reason. The desert Arizona town, close to Flagstaff, is brimming with red-rock cliffs, steep and impressive canyon walls, and pine forests. Noted for its colorful arts community and mild climate, the town of Sedona features spas, unique shops, and a variety of art galleries. Trailheads abound on the outskirts and lead to places, such as Red Rock State Park - an oasis for picnicking, bird watching, and hiking. When you see Sedona's towering red rocks next to a cerulean backdrop, you know yor are in desert heaven. Films that have featured Sedona's magnificent rock formations include Midnight Run and Broken Arrow. However, as your travel agent specialist, I can tell you that there is more than red rocks and blue skies in Sedona. You can also savor spa treatments - some with a local twist, such as blue corn scrubs for the body and red clay facial wraps. Enjoy a glass of local wine to or explore the surrounding wilderness by jeep. You can also hike to your heart's content, as Sedona features over 100 hiking paths. Therefore, make sure you bring a broad spectrum sunscreen and some sturdy hiking boots. Resorts I often recommend include the Enchantment Resort and the Amara Resort and Spa - places that allow you to invest in yourself. While you can see Sedona just about anytime, the best time to pay a visit is from the months of March to May. During that period, the temperatures are warm but not sweltering. Plus the area is filled with blooms and birdsong. You might also consider visiting from September to November, when biking and jeep tours are popular activities. Spring and fall feature temperatures that range from the mid-60s to 80s. However, because these times are more temperate, room rates are higher as well. Regardless of when you go though, I can help you find accommodations that will meet your tastes and budget. Why not contact me today and let's start planning your Sedona getaway!

The park is home to a variety of landscapes, including the Chisos Mountains, Santa Elena Canyon, and the Rio Grande. There are also numerous hiking trails and activities to enjoy, such as horseback riding, camping, and bird watching. That is also why Big Bend National Park is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Texas. Located in the southwestern part of the state, the park covers more than 801,000 acres (3,242 sq km) of land. It is named for the large bend in the Rio Grande that forms its southern boundary. The park has a variety of landscapes, including desert, mountains, and canyons. The Chisos Mountains are located in the center of the park and reach an elevation of 7,825 feet (2,387 m). Santa Elena Canyon is a 1,500-foot-deep (457 m) gorge carved by the Rio Grande. There are over 150 miles (241 km) of hiking trails in the park. Popular trails include the Lost Mine Trail, which leads to stunning views of the surrounding mountains; Chimneys Trail, which winds through a forest of towering pinnacles; and Window Trail, which offers views of Santa Elena Canyon. Horseback riding is allowed on certain trails. There are also several campgrounds where visitors can stay overnight. Want to see wildlife? Big Bend has you covered. You can see animals like the commonly seen bobcat as well as nocturnal desert animals like the kangaroo, kit fox, and over 12 species of bats. Mule deer, coyotes, blacktail jackrabbits, badgers, or desert cottontails may be seen in the early evening or shortly after sunrise. #4: South Padre Island South Padre Island is a beautiful barrier island located on the southern coast of Texas. The island is home to many popular tourist attractions, including the South Padre Island Beach, the Laguna Madre, and the Sea Turtle Rescue Center. Visitors can enjoy plenty of activities such as swimming, sunbathing, fishing, windsurfing, and kayaking. There are also a number of great restaurants and shops to explore on the island.#5 The Houston Space Center - Houston The Houston Space Center is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Texas. It is home to the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center, which is a National Historic Landmark. The Space Center has a variety of interactive exhibits and displays that allow visitors to learn about the history of space exploration and the science behind it. The center also offers a variety of educational programs for both children and adults. Texas is a vibrant state filled with incredible sights and experiences.
