Spain Travel Agent Specialist
A trip to Spain is a journey through a land of vibrant culture, diverse landscapes, rich history, and tantalizing cuisine. Here’s a snapshot of what a trip through Spain might look like:Day 1: Arrival in Madrid Your Spanish adventure begins in Madrid, the capital city. After landing at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, you head to your hotel in the city center. Madrid is a blend of historic grandeur and modern vibrancy. You start your exploration with a stroll through the Puerta del Sol, the heart of the city, and then visit the Plaza Mayor, a grand square surrounded by impressive architecture. For dinner, you dive into the local food scene at a traditional tapas bar, trying dishes like patatas bravas, jamón ibérico, and tortilla española.Day 2: Exploring Madrid The next day is dedicated to Madrid’s rich cultural offerings. Your first stop is the Prado Museum, home to masterpieces by Velázquez, Goya, and El Greco. Nearby, the Reina Sofía Museum offers a contrasting experience with its collection of modern art, including Picasso’s iconic “Guernica.” After a morning of art, you take a leisurely walk through El Retiro Park. In the evening, you visit the Royal Palace, one of the largest in Europe, where you marvel at the opulent rooms and the stunning views over the city.Day 3: Day Trip to ToledoOn your third day, you take a day trip to Toledo, a city just an hour from Madrid, known as the “City of Three Cultures” for its historical cohabitation of Christians, Muslims, and Jews. Toledo’s medieval streets are a living museum, with highlights including the Toledo Cathedral, the Alcázar, and the El Greco Museum. The city’s narrow alleys, ancient synagogues, and stunning views from the Tagus River gorge make it a must-visit. After a day steeped in history, you return to Madrid for a quiet evening.Day 4: Heading to Seville The journey continues south as you take a high-speed train to Seville, the capital of Andalusia. Seville is a city of flamenco, Moorish architecture, and lively festivals.Day 5: Exploring SevilleYour second day in Seville is dedicated to exploring more of its cultural treasures. You start at the Real Alcázar, a stunning palace complex blending Moorish and Renaissance styles. The intricate tilework, lush gardens, and ornate halls transport you to another era. Next, you visit the Plaza de España, an architectural marvel built for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, where you can row a boat along the canal or simply admire the impressive structure. Day 6: Day Trip to GranadaFrom Seville, you take a day trip to Granada, another jewel of Andalusia. The highlight of Granada is undoubtedly the Alhambra, a breathtaking palace and fortress complex that showcases the pinnacle of Moorish art and architecture. As you wander through the Nasrid Palaces, Generalife Gardens, and Alcazaba, you’re transported to a world of intricate arabesques, tranquil courtyards, and stunning views of the Sierra Nevada mountains. After exploring the Alhambra, you take a walk through the Albayzín, Granada’s old Moorish quarter, with its narrow, winding streets and whitewashed houses. You return to Seville in the evening.Day 7: Barcelona BoundOn day seven, you head to Barcelona, a city that offers a completely different vibe from the rest of Spain. After settling into your hotel in the Gothic Quarter, you begin your exploration at La Rambla, the famous pedestrian street filled with shops, cafes, and street performers. You visit the Mercado de La Boqueria, a bustling market where you can sample local delights like jamón, fresh seafood, and exotic fruits. In the afternoon, you explore the Gothic Quarter’s labyrinthine streets, discovering hidden squares, historic buildings, and the stunning Barcelona Cathedral.Day 8: Gaudí’s Masterpieces in Barcelona Barcelona is synonymous with the genius of architect Antoni Gaudí, and today is dedicated to his works. You start with the Sagrada Familia, Gaudí’s unfinished masterpiece and one of the most iconic landmarks in Spain. The basilica’s intricate facades and soaring interior columns are awe-inspiring. Next, you visit Park Güell, a colorful park filled with whimsical mosaics, undulating forms, and stunning views of the city. In the afternoon, you explore Casa Batlló and Casa Milà (La Pedrera), two of Gaudí’s most famous residential buildings, each showcasing his unique architectural style. The evening is spent enjoying the vibrant nightlife of Barcelona, with dinner at a trendy restaurant in the El Born district. After a day of natural beauty and spiritual reflection, you return to Barcelona for your final evening in Spain. Conclusion Your trip to Spain has been a whirlwind of experiences, from the royal splendor of Madrid to the passionate rhythms of Seville, the Moorish allure of Granada, and the modernist wonders of Barcelona. Spain’s rich history, diverse cultures, and vibrant energy have left an indelible mark on you, making this journey an unforgettable adventure. 4o

Susan Talbot is not just an excellent travel agent, she is also a wonderful, caring person. She cares about
her clients.
I have had many trips with Susan; from Hawaii to Paris, France to Barbados. All were handled with care
and professionalism. Her clients are important to her. That has been my experience as proven when my
husband took ill and had to be hospitalized in Hawaii. Susan was there to put us in touch with the right
people and followed through with all the arrangements even a&er we were home.
I never had to fret over any details of any trip. Susan took care of it all – personally and professionally.
You will have a great experience when working with Susan
