Kia Ora !  Welcome to New Zealand, one of the most magnificent countries on this planet. Indulge in volcanoes, bubbling mud pools and shooting geysers, lazing on idyllic islands and exploring exciting metropolises in the North Island; whilst the South Island is home to 10 of New Zealand's 14 national parks, jaw-dropping alpine scenery, icy glaciers and fun wildlife experiences.New Zealand has some of the greatest scenic drives in the world.

New Zealand is set like a remote jewel in the blue waters of the southwest Pacific Ocean. Colonial British and local Maori cultures live side by side and the proud history of each is showcased throughout this beautiful country. Marvel at the unspoiled landscape of snow-capped mountains, sheer falling fjords, rolling meadows, picturesque bays and stretches of wild beaches.The country is composed of two main islands.

 

The North Island is best known for the geothermal wonders of Rotorua and the clear waters of the Bay of Islands, but also offers insights into the rich and rewarding Maori culture. Explore the Art Deco town of Napier close to the wine region of Hawkes Bay. Wellington is the capital of the country and has a wonderful museum celebrating the history, art and culture of New Zealand. Crossing over to the South Island, visit Christchurch where you can punt in true English fashion along the Avon River or try swimming with the dolphins at Akaroa. Some of the world’s most peaceful retreats are found in the South Island but if that’s not for you, there is excitement in Queenstown – the adventure capital of the world, home to bungy jumping, sky diving and canyon swinging. There is also the chance to explore farmlands, fjords and national parks where nature rules and glacial valleys glide gently and quietly into the sea. Accommodation throughout New Zealand is of an excellent standard from luxury lodges to private islands with beaches. While you may at times have to share the road with a flock of sheep, it will be hard not to be distracted by the dramatic scenery unfolding before you. To top it all off, world renowned wines and fine dining are available wherever you go.

Welcome to Australia,  a vast country with no shortage of incredible destinations and experiences. Eight states and territories stretching across an entire continent.

Australia’s largest city, Sydney, is one of the world’s prettiest. Much of its allure revolves around the harbour, a dramatic expanse that creates a sanctuary for some of the country’s best beaches. This is the Sydney you see on postcards, with the immense Harbour Bridge and shell-like fans of the Opera House skirting the emerald waters. More sandy stretches await along the coast, from Coogee to Bondi, attracting surfers and sun-worshippers alike.  

In the tropical north of Australia, the rainforest meets the sea and two World Heritage sites unite: the Great Barrier Reef, the Daintree Rainforest. Imagine lush jungles tumbling to the edge of secluded white beaches, the soft sand disappearing into world-class dive sites, and curious clownfish looking back at you from the colourful coral.

In the Red Centre, a huge red monolith, Ayers Rock, is a World Heritage site, and one of Australia’s most emblematic landmarks. Uluru is literally the heart of Australia, and the ochre soil is as dramatic as the massive sandstone rock itself. You can cycle, walk, ride a camel or take a helicopter around the nearly 10-kilometre (6.2-mile) circumference, then dine under the stars on a sand dune – your meal featuring native ingredients and your view lit by an incredible glowing art installation: Bruce Munro’s Field of Light.

Heading south, welcome to Melbourne. This southern metropolis captures everything Aussies love most in this world – leisure, sport, art, music and coffee (just to name a few). In Melbourne, you can find eye-popping street art and a plethora of en vogue restaurants and bars. From hidden speakeasies to rooftop bars where you can sip a cocktail and watch the sunset, Melbourne is a trailblazer in the food and wine stakes. Once you've wined and dined, you can’t miss a road trip along the Great Ocean Road. Just a few hours from Melbourne, wild koalas, impressive rock formations and endless coastlines await.

For something different, try Australia's western capital...the gateway to some of the state’s most epic adventures – not least those involving food and wine. It’s a three-hour drive from Perth to the Margaret River region, one of the few places in the world where wine grows within metres of the beach. The vineyards here are known for their cabernet sauvignon grapes, but take it from us, all the wines grown here are exquisite. There’s also a myriad of craft breweries, acclaimed restaurants, luxury hotels, spectacular forests and plenty to keep the kids entertained.
