Korie Hughes - Travel Specialist for Adventure Travel, Luxury Trips, and All-Inclusive Resorts and Cruises.  Korie Hughes began her journey as a travel agent in 1981, shortly after graduating from Northwest Air and Travel School. She was hired by Continental Airlines to work in their reservations department. She has also worked for United Airlines and Aspen Air. After working for the airlines, she worked as a corporate travel agent and advisor for Carlson Wagonlit Travel (now CWT) as well as the former travel agencies, IVI Travel and ASK Mr. Foster. She later moved to Washington state and worked for Turtle Holidays, booking travel to the Turtle Islands and Fiji. She continued her travel journey, moving to Colorado, to assume a role as travel agent for an American Express travel agency. During this time, she honed her skills as a luxury travel agent, booking villas, managing transfers, and overseeing tours, train travel, and special trip requests. She had one goal in mind – to make each customer’s travel experience – seamless and memorable.Later, Korie worked for Cain Travel in Boulder, further expanding on her experience in the travel field. At Cain Travel, Korie focused on European destinations, South America, South Pacific destinations, as well as river and ocean cruises, including cruises in and around Alaska. Korie says her own travel loves include ocean destinations, water activities, such as snorkeling, and spending time on white sand beaches. She adds that her favorite quick getaway is Mexico, a travel destination that she tries to see at least twice a year.
