A journey to Steamboat Springs, Colorado always promises an exhilarating and picturesque escape to the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Renowned for its world-class skiing, hot springs, and charming Western atmosphere, Steamboat Springs offers a perfect blend of outdoor adventure and cozy mountain town charm.


Winter is a magical time in Steamboat Springs, attracting snow enthusiasts from around the world. The Steamboat Ski Resort boasts legendary champagne powder, making it a paradise for skiers and snowboarders. With more than 2,965 acres of skiable terrain, including tree-lined runs and challenging slopes, the resort caters to all skill levels. The famous tree skiing in the glades is an experience not to be missed.


After a day on the slopes, the historic downtown area of Steamboat Springs invites you to unwind and soak up the welcoming atmosphere. Lincoln Avenue, the town's main street, is lined with charming shops, boutiques, art galleries, and a variety of restaurants offering everything from hearty mountain fare to international cuisine.


For a unique experience, we always take a relaxing soak in the Old Town Hot Springs, where multiple pools offer a perfect way to unwind and enjoy the mountain views. The nearby Strawberry Park Hot Springs, nestled in a rustic setting surrounded by snow-covered trees, provides a more secluded and natural hot springs experience.


During the summer months, Steamboat Springs transforms into an outdoor playground with hiking, mountain biking, and water activities taking center stage. The Yampa River, which flows through town, offers opportunities for tubing, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding. The extensive trail system in the surrounding mountains caters to hikers and bikers of all skill levels, providing breathtaking views of the Yampa Valley.


Fish Creek Falls, a stunning 280-foot waterfall, is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers. The hike to the falls offers a chance to explore the lush forested areas and witness the powerful beauty of the cascading water.


Steamboat Springs hosts a range of events and festivals throughout the year, celebrating its Western heritage, outdoor pursuits, and vibrant arts community. The Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo Series, held during the summer, is a lively showcase of rodeo events, including bull riding, barrel racing, and roping competitions.  The hot air baloon festival is also during the summer.  Its so beautiful as the baloons rise up into the skyline.
