Great family time & memories!

One of the Willamette Valley's most celebrated features is its thriving wine industry. Known for its exceptional Pinot Noir wines, the region has gained international recognition for its high-quality vineyards. The combination of cool, wet winters and warm, dry summers provides an optimal climate for grape cultivation. The valley is home to numerous wineries and vineyards, which is why we picked this area for a family vacation.

Several charming cities and towns dot the Willamette Valley, each offering a unique blend of urban amenities and small-town charm. Salem, the state capital, is located near the center of the valley, while Eugene and Corvallis, home to the University of Oregon and Oregon State University, respectively, add a vibrant cultural and educational dimension to the region. Other notable communities include McMinnville, known for its aviation history and wine culture, and Newberg, a gateway to the renowned Dundee Hills wine region.

As we explored Willamette Valley, we realized not only was the wine fantastic but it also boasts a rich cultural and artistic scene.  It also feed our outdoor enthusiasm with a hike in Silver Falls State Park which is known for its breathtaking waterfalls and hiking trails.

Willamette Valley wineries had a family feel & small town feel. We actually stayed at a guest house on a vineyard so woke up to a beautiful view every morning.

Whether you're a wine enthusiast seeking Pinot Noir perfection or interested in exploring other varietals, the region offers a diverse and welcoming wine=tasting experience.

It was definitely one of our favorite family vacations.
