Bungalows at the St. Regis!

Bora Bora was absolutely magical. Everything was so bright with vibrant colors. The water was crystal clear with shades of aqua, turquoise, greens and blues. You could see every fish that swam by. The mountain and palm trees were so luscious and green it was a nice contrast to the water. The weather was perfect, warm day and night. One of the best parts about Bora Bora are the overwater bungalows! I loved that we could open our back door and just jump in the lagoon. We didn't have to walk anywhere. But if we did need to get places, each bungalow had their own bike! It was so fun riding down the docks on our bikes. Great way to get around the huge resort. We loved waking up to the sounds of the light waves brushing against our bungalow. We would take our coffee and fresh squeezed juice out every morning and just enjoy the calmness. It was so peaceful and relaxing and a wonderful way to start each day. Another lovely part about these bungalows were the glass cut outs in the floor so we could see down to the water. Watching for fishes at night was always exciting. The bathrooms had so much space with a rainfall shower and a huge tub you could have a party in! We had 2 sinks so we didn't need to share space with each other getting ready. The bed might have been one of my favorite parts! It was huge and so comfy and I got the best sleep I've ever had. Bora Bora is something special and the bungalows really help to add to it's magic!
