Turkey Travel Specialist & Yacht Charter

My first visit to Turkey was in 1998. I met with local agents to set up a tour for a group of 33 clients.  It was a wonderful experience.  We stayed in the Swiss Hotel overlooking the Bosphorus while in Istanbul. In Bodrum, the yachting capitol of Turkey, we stayed at the Mavi Kumsal Hotel in Bodrum. The breakfast buffet was to die for. Mandarin orange juice, olives, tasty bread, cherry jam, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, Turkish coffee and more.

In August the group boarded their yachts in Bodrum and toured the entire west coast to Istanbul.  We did all the land arrangements as they had tours in Didyma, Miletos, Ephesus, Pergamon, Troy, Gallipoli and Istanbul. Dining aboard and on the yachts was fantastic as were the tours, meals, shopping, Turkish Hamman, and the people.

Since that time we as organized yacht charters for groups and just a single cabin for some guests.  We can do one couple or entire yachts with a captain, chef and two or more sailors.  We organized a flotilla of 5 yachts for a group or 85 persons.  They visited Myra, where St. Nicolas was born and many other coastal sites.

For the church market we have arranged the Seven Churches tour, and the Footsteps of Paul Tour. Turkey is full of historical sites Turkey is very affordable for groups as are flights to Istanbul.

The more adventurous may want to venture to Cappadocia, the land of Chimney rock caves. The surreal landscapes, hot air balloons and cave hotels are very unique and the favorite of many quests.

Through Travel Leaders, we have great rates on very nice hotels or some great tours for you.  We have access to private guides which I know in Istanbul, Ephesus-especially for shore trips and Cappadocia.

We have been to Turkey five times. 

Yacht Charter To charter a crewed yacht is very simple.  The yachts generally have between 4-8 cabins and are about 25-30 meters in length.  There is a price for the yacht and a price for provisioning. A yacht can run 7,000- 30,000 Euros a week and provisioning runs about 50 Euros per person per day.  The itineraries are as varied as your mind.  Generally you sail for about 4 hours a day-with time for exploring, swimming, playing with water toys and dining.
