As the islands came into view, I was greeted by a kaleidoscope of colors – from the vibrant blue of the sea to the dazzling white of the Cycladic architecture.My first stop was Santorini, perhaps the most iconic of all the Greek Islands. Arriving in the picturesque village of Oia, I was immediately captivated by its charm – narrow cobblestone streets lined with bougainvillea-draped buildings, panoramic views of the caldera, and fiery sunsets that painted the sky in shades of pink and gold.Exploring the island, I discovered hidden treasures at every turn – from the ancient ruins of Akrotiri, a Minoan settlement preserved beneath layers of volcanic ash, to the black sand beaches of Perissa and Kamari.
