When you think of luxury travel, what comes to mind?

For me, it’s not about the dollar amount spent, it’s about the quality of the experience, and creating once in a lifetime memories! Imagine sailing the seas of Mexico, while indulging in exquisite cuisine and wine that you can’t access anywhere else in the world. What about an 10-day journey through Greece, absorbing the affluent culture, set to the tempo of its exotic rich history?

 

Some of my personal favorite luxury places to visit are Las Vegas, Jamaica, Greece, Bali, Maldives, Japan, Antigua, Dominican Republic, Aruba, Costa Rica,  and Mexico to just name a few!

Whether you're a beach lover or an adventure seeker, this Caribbean destination is waiting for you. Barbados is an island in the Lesser Antilles chain, located in the Caribbean Sea. It is considered to be a part of the West Indies. The island is east of the other Windward Islands and north of Trinidad and Tobago.

The economy of Barbados is largely based on tourism, and the travel destination receives nearly two million visitors each year. Other major industries include sugar production, light manufacturing, and offshore finance. The island is well known for its beaches, resorts, cricket (the national sport), rum, and its culture which is a mix of African, British, and Caribbean influences.

The Caribbean island of Barbados is a popular tourist destination, and for good reason. The island highlights beautiful beaches as well as dozens of fun activities. Here are some of the top travel attractions in Barbados:

1. Animal Flower Cave and Restaurant - Another natural attraction in Barbados, Animal Flower Cave is located on the northern coast of the island. The cave gets its name from the sea anemones that are found in the tide pools outside the cave entrance. Inside the cave, visitors will find stalactites and stalagmites, as well as a variety of marine life. Try the breadfruit taco at the restaurant or the catch of the day.

2. Harrison's Cave - This natural attraction is a must-see on any trip to Barbados. Harrison's Cave is a large underground cave system with crystallized limestone formations and underground rivers. Visitors can take guided tours of the cave or explore on their own.

3. The Crane Beach - One of Barbados' most popular beaches, The Crane Beach is known for its pink sand and clear waters. Visitors can relax on the beach, go swimming or snorkeling, or take a walk along the scenic coastal path. Rolling dunes and rugged cliffs make this shore a memorable escape.

From stunning beaches and world class golf courses to historical sites and cultural hotspots, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to rewind and relax. The green coconut contains delicious coconut milk and the meat may be eaten raw or baked for its oil. The oil is used in cooking, for making soap, or commercially, for manufacturing hydraulic brake fluid.
