It is also home to my favorite theme park and where I rode my first big roller coaster,The Loch Ness Monster. This town is none other than love. Williamsburg, Virginia is a beautiful, clean, and quiet town that is full of peace and fun for the whole family.  Travel around the world with food and rides through the world's most beautiful theme park, Busch Gardens, and cool off in  their sister park,Water Country USA.  When you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the parks,  there are many opportunities for all ages. You can explore Jamestown, the first settlement and witness reenactments,take tours,or learn colonial times. There are also many local park offerings for playgrounds,water activities, picnics,ziplining,and lake beaches for swimming. For beer or wine connoisseurs, there are endless tours of  breweries and tasting opportunities. Anheuser-Busch, Virginia Beer Company, Silver Hand Meadery,and the Williamsburg Winery are key ones to note. For the foodie, there are options for every cuisine and budget. Highly recommend the Tipsy Bean, Captain George and Food For Thought! For shopping, the Tanger outlets are a great place to stop in.  If you are looking at day trips to explore outside of the area. Kings Dominion is about 1 hour away, as well as  Virginia Beach and the aquarium. The Outer Banks is about 2 hours away if you fancy a need for blue waters.If you would like to explore some natural wonders, Luray caverns and Shenandoah National Park is about a 3 hour drive away that is well worth the visit.
