I’ve always loved the ocean from a young age. I did my first dive many many years ago off the coast of Western Australia where I was born and I was hooked . I then spent years diving the Great Barrier Reef. My most favored dive location apart from the Great Barrier Reef is Fiji , I love to go diving from Beqa ( Benga) Island and I have also enjoyed diving off Bali near Nusa lembongan Island. Now living in California to keep my skills up between going on a longer dive vacation I really enjoy diving off Catalina Island, an hours ferry ride from Long Beach California, seeing the giant Californian Sea Bass amongst the kelp fields and the cheeky orange Garibaldi fish makes for a really great dive and its beach access into the beautiful marine park.I enjoy helping people from all over on the phone or answering emails to help plan the best dive trips to various destinations. I enjoy helping a brand new diver find an open water course for the first time or help a veteran diver plan their dream dive trip to one of their bucket list destinations! Every dive vacation is a little different because every guest is different in what they are looking for. Whether it is planning a live aboard trip to Australia’s Great Barrier reef to Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt and then next looking at dive resorts in Fiji and the Maldives. I enjoy spending time with each customer on the phone or email to learn exactly what they want and put together the best dive trip for them.I love hearing from people about where they have dived, where they have been to and want to go, and then being able to give recommendations and help them plan the best dive vacation. It’s also really exciting to talk to first-time divers and get them excited about how great diving is and how amazing it is to experience the ocean in a whole new way.I always learn so much from other divers. My best piece of advice is to start a conversation with the dive staff or fellow divers on your liveaboard or at your dive resort. They’ll likely inspire you to add a few more destinations to your scuba diving bucket list. I’m constantly adding to my bucket list – I have not been everywhere, but it’s on my list!
