Pet Friendly Travel Agent Specialist

Not everyone who goes on vacation wants to leave their furry companion at a kennel. If you’re one of these people, I can help you find the ideal destination, as I am a pet-friendly travel agent advisor. I understand how you feel, as I have traveled with my dog, who also loves taking road trips. We’ve embarked on excursions from Texas to Illinois, and have traveled on long stretches of road - from Tennessee to California and from Illinois to Florida. My adventurous pup has splashed in the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Gulf of Mexico. He has forded countless rivers and streams, dug holes in the White Sand National Park, and rolled happily in the clay of Zion National Park. We also have visited dog parks, wineries, and breweries all over the U.S., which makes my dog one well-traveled pet. While traveling with a dog does not come with certain challenges, it certainly is rewarding as well as satisfying. To improve your travel experience with your pet, I can find out for you what hotels welcome pets and if they charge pet fees or have certain weight limits. Also, I can check and see if a property has breed restrictions. By taking care of these details for you, you will feel less stressed when planning a dog-friendly vacation.  You’ll be happy to find out that several hotels will roll out the red carpet for your dog or cat. Some even offer special services and amenities.  At this point, you might be asking which are the friendliest places for traveling with your dog, for instance, in the U.S. One of my travel recommendations is Bend, Oregon - a great place to take your pet anytime of the year. Bend, Oregon, which sits besides the Deschutes River, is home to beautiful national forests, extinct volcanoes, and effervescent lakes. Moreover, the city has the highest per capita population of dogs - not just in the U.S., but in the entire world. Almost 50% of the locals own dogs in this scenic Oregon city. Do you love the outdoors? If so, you’ll enjoy Bends’ 50 miles of trails and 13 off leash sections for hikers with dogs. If you’re wondering where in Florida to take your pet, try out Sanibel Island on Florida’s gulf coast. You and your dog will savor the balmy weather and appreciate the amazing sunsets as you search for seashells or stroll along the shore. Nearly all the beaches in Sanibel invite pets, so you’ll love booking travel in this locale. One of the favorite beaches among pet owners is Gulfside Beach, which features places to barbecue, enjoy a picnic lunch, or simply relax for the day. You might also think about heading to Austin, Texas, which will give you and your pet a big hearty Texas welcome. Not only can you hike and bike with your dog along Lady Bird Lake, you can also find restaurants and green spaces in Austin’s downtown where you and your favorite canine companion can romp, run, and play. Even the Capitol building, in Austin, invites pets to its lawn and grassy areas. Do you want to plan a vacation with your dog? If so, I can help you make arrangements that will enable you to travel with your pet easily and conveniently. Give me a call today. I look forward to helping you plan a one-of-a-kind pet-friendly vacation for your next holiday.

Fantastic Wine Country Experience
Rebecca is passionate about travel and wine. Our trip included tasting in two California wine regions, including Sonoma Wine Country and Livermore Valley. She’s a super nice person that you can easily work with. I fully recommend her to future travelers.

The best sister's trip that we have ever taken
Rebecca, helped us put together the best trip we have ever taken. My 2 sisters and I met in Fresno and drove to Yosemite for 3 nights before heading to Sequoia National Park for 2 nights. She booked our houses, tours, and rental car.
She even gave us driving directions and recommendations for grocery stores and restaurants along the way and at our destinations.

We will use here again to help us plan our next adventure!

- went to an art exhibit
- ate dinner at a local pub
- saw a concert
- ate some pizza at a local joint before walking back to my hotel
