I have a true passion for traveling and anything food-related. I've had the travel bug ever since. I have planned several trips by myself for friends and family and have been to more than 15 countries, with a particular love for Europe. In March 2021, I moved to Rome, Italy to work as an au pair, which I just returned from in December 2021! I plan on going back and forth between Europe and North America for my entire life; I can't just call one my home.

With such a passion for travel and extensive knowledge in trip planning, I am a pro at finding affordable accommodations and engaging activities that are sure to make any trip special and memorable. Travel is an essential part of life, as it gives you the chance to see the world through another culture's eyes and experience things you never knew you could do, as well as discovering delicious cuisines different than what you're used to!  As a travel agent, it means a great deal to me to help others see the world the way I do and have them gain a deep appreciation for the planet we call home.

Netherlands Travel Agent Expert

Amsterdam always conjures up images of windmills, one of the unique features about this wonderful European city. As a travel agent specialist for Amsterdam, I am always excited about booking holidays to this one-of-a-kind European destination. The capital in the Netherlands is known for its canal system, narrow buildings with gabled facades, and Van Gogh Museum. Locals and visitors take advantage of the numerous bike paths in the city as well. During your visit to the city, I can arrange a canal tour for you or you can take a walking tour in the Jewish quarter where Anne Frank once lived. In fact, one of Amsterdam's most visited sites is the Anne Frank House, next to the Prinsengracht Canal. The building was a hiding place for Anne Frank and her family and four other people during the Nazi occupaton in the Second World War. The house has served as a memorial to the Holocaust since 1947. That is when Anne Frank's father published his daughter's diary. After plans to destroy the structure were abandoned in 1955, the building was established as a museum in 1960. Another attraction of note is the Rijksmuseum, whose total collection of art totals more than one million. Opened in 1885, the museum displays about 8,000 works of art today, including Rembrandt's masterpiece, Night Watch. The canals in Amsterdam were constructed in the 1600s to control the Amstel River and add more land to the city. The city has 100 canals. By taking a boat over the waterways, you can see traditional Dutch architecture and structures, cast in the shade of elm trees as you drift peacefully along the embankments.. I can arrange an hour-long tour or a candle light cruise during your holiday. While taking a canal trip, you also don't want to miss seeing Bloemenmarkt, a floating flower market on the south bank of Amsterdam's Singel Canal. The floral marketplace, which is open 7 days a week, features floating barges of blooms and the Netherland's famous tulip bulbs. The watery site, which was established in 1862, highlights over 12 different flower sellers, including souvenir stalls. While locals shop at the market, it primarily caters to tourists. Visitors can buy daffodil, tulip, and narcissus bulbs, which have been designated for sale and export. I would like to have the opportunity to share more information with you about this city.
