France Travel Agent Specialist

Omaha Beach
Omaha Beach

I love history. That is why I enjoy working as a travel agent specialist for Normandy. Normandy sits in northern France and features beacheads from the Second World War - one of which is the famous Omaha Beach, the site of the allied D-Day landings. A Gothic abbey overlooks the cliff-strewn island of Mont-Saint-MIchel and the nearby city of Rouen, which is home to the Notre Dame Cathedral, is the site of Joan of Arc's execution in 1431. Normandy brings several historic images to mind - the D-Day landings, William the Conqueror, and the aforementioned Mont-Saint-Michel. However, the palace is so much more than that. It also features abbeys, famed gardens, the orchards at Auge, and picture-postcard scenery. Monet's home at Giverny and camembert cheese are also part of this interesting region in France.  One of the historic displays you must see, if you love history, is the Bayeux Tapestry, which is a historical document and amazing piece of art. The tapestry describes the 1066 Norman Conquest of England. Stitches in eight vibrant shades of yellow, blue, and red wool and the narrated scenes--58 in total--were embroidered 11 years after the Conquest took place.  The tapestry is designed on 230 feet of linen cloth and the artistic narrative was done at the behest, it is believed, of Odo, Bishop of Bayeux, the half-brother of William the Conqueror. The tapestry is now exhibited at Normandy's Museum of Tapestry or the Musee de la Tapisserie de Bayeux in Bayeux, Normandy. While it is called a tapestry, the artwork follows the broader definition of an embroidery. If you plan to visit Normandy, I can, as your travel agent, provide you with some of the region's history. It will make your trip just that much more interesting, as Normandy does indeed have some fascinating historical sites.  For instance the Cathedrale Notre-Dame was consecrated in William the Conqueror's presence in 1077. Also, the Musée Mémorial de la Bataille de Normandie Bayeux is an excellent beginning point for visits to the D-Day shores. The Battle of Normandy is told in time-organized detail in the museum. Would you like to plan a trip to Normandy? If so, I would like to serve as your go-to travel agent advisor. Why don't you call me or email me today? I would love to hear from you and start planning a journey that will uplift and inspire you.

Fantastic Culture Trip
To think that I thought I was getting "the best deal" by hopelessly searching through travel sites to plan my trip to Santa Fe. With Tammie planning my adventure, I was able to actually experience wonderful places and restaurants that I would have never been able to book on my own. And my trip would have been more expensive as well. As a travel agent, Tammie receives major deals on airfare, hotels, tours, transportation, etc. I am thankful for her assistance and guidance with this wonderful experience. She is my go-to person for all my future travel plans!

Memorable Family Trip
I had the pleasure of working with Tammie. First off she helped coordinate my family's site seeing, train travel, and the in between when we went to Malaysia. It made the process stress free where we were able to relax. If I had questions or concerns she was able to assist. During our trip, there was one family who didn't use a travel agent and the tickets they had were fake and they were unable go on some of their adventures they had planned. I think at that moment I took the biggest deep breath and said thank the Lord for Tammie. All of our tickets worked as it was perfectly planned! I will use her again!
