Home to the Mardi Gras, alligators, Cajun and Creole cooking, and ongoing and friendly hospitality, New Orleans is the type of place you can’t wait to share with travelers. That is why I love representing this one-of-a-kind city as a travel agent professional. There is something interesting to do during every season of the year. Therefore, when I plan trips, I often look at what’s going on during the month a client wishes to travel. One of the best times to go to the popular city is during early spring - during the Mardi Gras or during the Jazz Fest, which takes place over two weekends. You will need my services as a travel agent advisor, as you’ll want to make sure your reservations are confirmed for lodging and transportation during this peak travel season. In April, the French Quarter hosts a festival where the world’s largest jazz brunch is held and fireworks erupt along the Mississippi. The French Quarter’s historic homes, with their unique architecture and iron grillwork, are the main attraction of the neighborhood and the event. As it gets warmer, more festivals unfold, adding to the spontaneity and positive spirit of the city. While humid and hot weather, combined with daily thunderstorms, places summer as an off-season, it should not prevent you from visiting during the city’s fourth of July celebration.
