The once sleepy village has turned into a hotel zone, which also boasts a downtown with plenty of shopping, restaurants, and inviting attractions. While Cancun offers malls for those who love to shop, it also features mangroves and jungles. The nightlife is mainly found in the Corazone, but also extends to Ciudad Cancun. The party atmosphere includes Mexican traditional music as well as contemporary offerings. Located on the Yucatan Peninsula, Cancun not only gives you a chance to experience luxury resort living, but also provides you with the opportunity to take day trips and excursions.
