Besides the northern lights and fjords, Norway offers a delectable selection of mouth-watering foods - foods that you probably have not tried before. Because Norweigans love adventure, food is no exception. For example, every residential Norwegian forages, and you can do the same as well on your Norway holiday. That is why I often suggest that travelers visiting Norway go on a foraging tour in August or September. That is when the hedgerows are in full bloom and prized porcini mushrooms can be easily found.  However, never pick mushrooms without a guide to help. That is why a foraging tour is a must-do activity. You can also pick dew-sparkling amber berries, cloudberries, and lingonberries in places  such as Hardangervidda and Rondane. Also, Husmanskost is a hearty and inviting lunch you will love - open sandwiches that feature sourdough or rye bread, topped with charcuterie, veggies, or seafood. You can savor the cuisine in places, such as the Havariet Bistro in Oslofjord.  Classic dinner dishes include unique and succulent foods, such as elk meatballs and reindeer stew, also called finnbiff. Enjoy these evening staples in places, such as the Elgustua Guesthouse in East Norway. When you eat that type of delicious food, you will need to find ways to work off the calories, and Norway has plenty of activities in which you can take part. One of the popular activities of the country, naturally, is skiing.  The word, "ski," itself comes from the Old Norse language. Many Norweigans assert that they had skis on their feet when they were born. Therefore, if you want to ski, you will find Norway to be a skiers paradise. You can hit the powder in winter or ski down a glacier during the summer. As a London travel agent professional, I plan trips that involve time travel - taking visitors to another place and time. Whether your visit lasts several days or a month, you will find that London will not disappoint. Not only can you see castles, museums, and galleries, you can visit historic residences and estates. Shopping is also upscale and many of the shops have been in existence for several hundred years. For example, I might arrange your trip so you begin the day with a shopping excursion. By starting in St. James Street and PIccadilly, you can visit top-shelf stores, such as Locker the hatter, Turnbull & Asser and New & Lingwood, who are the outfitters for Eton College. You might also drop in at the perfumer, Floris, which was established in 1789. The cheese shop, Paxton & Whitfield, has been selling specialty cheeses since 1740. If you crave a dessert, head to Fortnum & Mason through Piccadilly Arcade, and enjoy the icy treat at the store's Parlour restaurant. Or, I can arrange a trip where you begin your first day in Trafalgar Square when the National Gallery opens its doors. After spending time at the gallery, you might head toward the Portrait Restaurant for coffee, which is located on the top floor of the National Portrait Gallery next door. From there, you can see a great view of Trafalgar Square. You might visit the Houses of Parliament before you stop at magnificent Westminster Abbey the next day. Hopefully, the sun will shine, so you can enjoy a picnic lunch at St. James' Park. After fortifying yourself with a lunch or a quick repast, you could walk to Buckingham Palace, which is on the far side of the park.  If you go during the summer, you can access the State Rooms and see the interesting displays. The Queen's Gallery in the palace, also features changing exhibits, so there is always something new to see. By the time it is tea time, you can amble past St. James' Palace to Piccadilly and find a cafe or patisserie. As your travel agent for London, I can also arrange an evening's entertainment by getting tickets for a West End show.  If you love to window-shop, my recommendation is to walk through Burlington Arcade before resuming your journey up Old and New Bond Streets. These sites represent the smartest shopping addresses in London.  One of London's top attractions is the Tower of London, so you definitely have to add it to your London itinerary. I can book tickets ahead of time so you can enter the attraction without hassle. It takes about two hours to visit the castle and admire the Crown Jewels on display. Good places to dine also can be found along Katharine Docks, next to the pleasure watercraft and yachts.
