Besides the northern lights and fjords, Norway offers a delectable selection of mouth-watering foods - foods that you probably have not tried before. Because Norweigans love adventure, food is no exception. For example, every residential Norwegian forages, and you can do the same as well on your Norway holiday. That is why I often suggest that travelers visiting Norway go on a foraging tour in August or September. That is when the hedgerows are in full bloom and prized porcini mushrooms can be easily found.  However, never pick mushrooms without a guide to help. That is why a foraging tour is a must-do activity. You can also pick dew-sparkling amber berries, cloudberries, and lingonberries in places  such as Hardangervidda and Rondane. Also, Husmanskost is a hearty and inviting lunch you will love - open sandwiches that feature sourdough or rye bread, topped with charcuterie, veggies, or seafood. You can savor the cuisine in places, such as the Havariet Bistro in Oslofjord.  Classic dinner dishes include unique and succulent foods, such as elk meatballs and reindeer stew, also called finnbiff. Enjoy these evening staples in places, such as the Elgustua Guesthouse in East Norway. When you eat that type of delicious food, you will need to find ways to work off the calories, and Norway has plenty of activities in which you can take part. One of the popular activities of the country, naturally, is skiing.  The word, "ski," itself comes from the Old Norse language. Many Norweigans assert that they had skis on their feet when they were born. Therefore, if you want to ski, you will find Norway to be a skiers paradise. You can hit the powder in winter or ski down a glacier during the summer. As a travel agent advisor, it is my pleasure to introduce you to Seychelles - the ultimate destination for anyone who loves adventure, luxury, and a warm travel setting. When it comes to tropical destinations that are practically picture-perfect, Seychelles is a standout travel selection. This chain of islands lies about 1,000 miles off the coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean. With its pristine beaches, glistening blue water and lush vegetation, it’s no wonder that more than a million tourists visit Seychelles each year.  Seychelles has something for everyone. Whether you want to relax on a deserted island or actively explore nature, you can find it on the islands of Seychelles. There are over 100 islands in the Seychelles archipelago, but only 25 of them are inhabited.  

Mahe Island

Mahe is the largest island in the Seychelles. It has a population of about 18,000 people and is considered to be the cultural and economic center of Seychelles. The capital city of Mahe is also called Mahe, and its home to several spectacular buildings including the Presidential Palace and National Assembly Building. Mahe is an excellent place to visit if you want to explore a variety of landscapes.  You can enjoy views of rugged mountains or lush forests as well as find picturesque beaches that are perfect for sunbathing or surfing. Most visitors who come to Mahe tend to spend their time in Victoria, which has many quaint shops and some beautiful churches. There are also plenty of attractions on this island such as Fort Frederic and the island’s Botanic Garden with its botanical collections from around the world (including Australia).

La Mer As the most famous beaches in Seychelles, La Mer combines fine white sand with turquoise water. There are many resorts near this beach, which makes it perfect for families with children who want to enjoy themselves without having to stray too far from their lodgings. La Crete Nature Park is another place that draws crowds because of its lush vegetation and panoramic views.

Praslin Island

Praslin island is the largest inhabited island in Seychelles. It’s a great destination for nature lovers, thanks to its diverse landscapes and plentiful animal life. You’ll even spot some rare species that are only found here! If you’re a nature lover or outdoor enthusiast, this is the island for you. There are over 40 trails and walks on Praslin Island, including an 18km coastal walkway that goes past lagoons and mangroves.  You can also find several  waterfalls and hidden coves to explore. If you head south from Beau Vallon Bay, you’ll come across Baie de Forbans, which is known for its emerald waters and secluded bays. Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of many beautiful spots around the island, then go swimming at La Dune Beach – it features white sand and turquoise waters that will take your breath away.

Silhouette Island

Silhouette Island is one of the most popular islands in the Seychelles archipelago. It features a dramatic view of towering cliffs. Therefore, you don’t want to miss the sunset among these towering rocks. Silhouette Island is home to some stunning beaches as well, like Anse Lazio, whose white sands turn pink in the evening light. There’s also a calm lagoon that offers excellent snorkeling opportunities for those adventurous enough to explore it!

CoCo Island

CoCo Island is another popular island on the Seychelles archipelago. It’s situated in the northeast and is easily accessible by air, sea or land. The island is known for its breathtaking beaches, like Beau Vallon Beach, and its rich history. The island’s vibrant culture amd Creole influences are prominent in the island’s food, language and music.  The locals also have a strong sense of community with a commitment to preserving their heritage and environment. They are happy to share with visitors and enjoy talking about their way of life with guests. Therefore, Coco offers an authentic experience of the traditional Creole life for travelers. You will find small shops selling local produce, fruits and spices, handmade jewelry and other souvenirs for sale.

Aride Island and Nature Reserve

Any tourist to the Seychelles should go to Aride Island to see what the islands looked like 250 years ago before human development. Aride is the northernmost granitic Seychelles island. It is approximately 68 acres in size, 1.6 km long, and 0.6 km wide. Aride has the largest seabird population in the Indian Ocean, with more breeding species than any other Seychelles isle and habitat. The Seychelles' Island Conservation Society manages the island as a wildlife reserve. The reserve's staff includes an Island Manager, Conservation Officer, and rangers - all of whom are the only humans on the island. The Seychelles archipelago is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
