Playa Del Carmen: 5th Avenue

There is more to the Mexican Caribbean than Cancun.

About 45-minutes to an hour south of the Cancun International Airport, lies Playa Del Carmen. Once a sleepy fishing village, Playa Del Carmen has grown to be a fabulous vacation spot with 4 and 5-star all-inclusive resorts lining its white sandy beaches.

For those of you who want more from a vacation than to just relax, watching the turquoise waters lap onto the shore, Playa Del Carmen has so much to offer, not to mention, is close to all kinds of activities.

Playa’s famous 5th Avenue is a pedestrian street with shops and restaurants stretching from Little Italy in the north to PlayaCar to the south. Even if you don’t stay in Playa Del Carmen, I will recommend to you to at least visit. Some resorts will have a tour that will take you for a few hours.

What’s so awesome about staying right in Playa Del Carmen is if you are tired of your all-inclusive food, simply walk out and up to 5th Avenue and try one of the many unique restaurants. One of my favorites its Lucky Luciano’s. Before I traveled to Barcelona, that was the best pizza I had ever tasted. There is also a bar I call the swing bar, not for the reasons that may have jumped into your head (ha, ha) but because the seats around the bar are actual swings. It’s true name is Pez Vela though.

At night Playa Del Carmen’s 5th Avenue nightlife heats up. There are multiple night clubs and bars with live music.

Awesome Destination Wedding

My new husband and I just got back from our Destination Wedding in Mexico. Holy cow, it was perfect. Poor April held my hand all the way. I am so glad we had her take care of everything. April was so understanding and she even told me she had a Destination Wedding in Mexico herself. She put me at ease just knowing she knew what I was feeling.

The Wedding was simply amazing! Everyone made it there with the exception of my elderly grandparents, because of Covid but we got the resort video option so they will get to see it.

If you are thinking about a Destination Wedding, April is the BEST!

Amazing Honeymoon in the Dominican Republic

My husband and I just got back from Punta Cana and it was WONDERFUL! I thought planning a honeymoon now was unthinkable but April set everything up for us and knew everything about restrictions. She made sure that we were taken care of and everything went smoothly.
Yes, I recommend April 100% and 5 Stars! We will most defiantly not take a vacation without her now.

Best Travel Agent Ever!

We have used Travel Agents in the past and April is by far the Best!! She really goes above and beyond. We will only be using her for future travels. We have been spoiled.

Quick Mexico Getaway

My friends and I wanted a quick girl’s vacation to Mexico and April set everything up for us. She even booked us catamaran to Playa Mujerez, which was so much fun. There were 10 of us, all together and everything went smoothly. She was so patient and knowledgeable.

Now our husbands are planning their Guy Getaway for July. It is so funny how excited our husbands are getting about their upcoming trip.

I can’t explain how much easier it was using April as our travel agent.
5 STARS hands down!!!

I will always use April and I know all of the girls will!

I 110% Recommend April

I had never used a Travel Agent before because I though they cost money. April was able to explain that she is compensated by her vendors once we travel so she doesn't charge for her services.
I can truly say that using a Travel Agent, or at least April, was night and day from doing everything on my own. Her knowledge and expertise was mind blowing and I am never going to book a trip on my own again. This was so easy.
I recommend April 110%
