Romania Travel Agent Professional

As a travel agent and advisor for Romania, I have always found the country a fascinating locale. Not only is its history interesting, so are its foods, lifestyles, and cultural practices. Therefore, I cannot wait to help you plan a trip to this interesting and exciting travel destination.Romanians trace their heritage back to the Romans and the Romans’ love of luxury and art. In addition, the country has a diversity of wildlife and scenery - the country’s cultures and people live life in a way that seems to have changed little from the past. Everything counts as an adventure in Romania - from the country’s gypsies to its wild bears.Home to an area of 237,000 square kilometers or approximately 147,264 square miles, Romania represents one of the largest nations in Central Europe. Its capital, Bucharest, rests in the far south spanning the plains of Wallachia, which is found between the mountainous terrain of Transylvania (to the north) and the Danube River. The highest peak, called Moldoveanu, is situated in the Carpathian mountain range. The majority of Romania's tourists visit the country's mountain, seaside, and health spa resorts, all of which are seeing rapid growth. In terms of trade, Romania's major commercial partners are Italy and Germany. Romania's most renowned historical person is Vlad epes (c. 1431–76), better known as Vlad the Impaler and, more familiarly, as Dracula.Even if Romania's main cities, such as Bucharest, Brasov, Sighisoara, Timisoara, and Sibiu, are interesting locales, the country's true charm is found  in its less-traveled areas. Villages in Romania's rural areas are varied, from the reed-built dwellings of Oltenia to the Gothic-style wooden churches of Maramures, not to mention the plethora of more traditional buildings that represent the country's history and religious practices. From the Carpathian highlands to the bucolic hills of Bucovina to Europe's most pristine marshes, Romania represents some of the continent's most diverse and interesting environments. Bucharest, the capital of Romania, is the first stop for many travelers. Despite its traffic-congested 19th century Parisian-type boulevards and decaying architecture, you cannot help but find it delightful. Transylvania, a province to the north of Romania's capital city, is the backdrop for the country's most breathtaking landscape and is home to some of the country's most beautiful towns, such as Brasov, which provides entry to the country’s examples of Saxon architecture. The Saxon influence is further found in the country’s villages with their churches and citadels, especially in places such as Prejmer, Biertan, and Fiscri. Just to the northwest, the Magyar cities of Cluj, Oradea, and Târgu  display medieval streets and churches, including unforgettable edifices in the Secession and Baroque styles. If you go southwest, you will find Timisoara, a wonderful place to spend a couple days of your travel adventure.Romania also boasts many of Europe’s mineral springs. About 160 spas, some of which were made fashionable by the early-nineteenth century Hapsbugs, are extremely popular. Even the smaller spas feature restaurants and campsites. Basic treatments include drinking the waters, bathing in the springs or sapropelic muds, or breathing in mofette fumes.Therapies include aerosol and ultrasound treatments, acupuncture, and  sunbathing as well. Each spa has its own specialities. For example, spas, such as Covasna or Vatra Dornei specialize in cardiovascular ailments while others may cover digestive problems or rheumatic complaints. You can also just escape to the countryside with its lovely mountains and lush greenery. The place is home to chamois, eagles, and bears while ranges, such as Bucegi and Retezat, offer great hiking opportunities.  You can also visit the Black Sea coast, with its resorts, including the old port of Constanta. Are you ready to travel to Romania? If so, I would like to be your guide and travel agent specialist. Give me a call or contact me by email so we can start planning now.

Unforgettable Vacation
I wanted to surprise my wife with a quick trip for our 6 years wedding anniversary. I'm forever grateful for a memorable weekend and wouldn't change a thing about it. We Visited Buenos Aires for 2 nights, enjoyed their parrilladas and local wine, just one word for it "exquisite". We flew to Iguassu Falls and spent 2 nights there. The morning view was amazing! We stayed at the Belmond Hotel Das Cataratas in Brazil's side and were able to hear the sound of the waterfalls while falling asleep. Next morning we went on a boat ride under the falls, it was extreme and we loved it! Thank you Miriam for sharing your knowledge and arranging everything for us, it was a perfect quick celebration with so much quality in such short stay.
