While plenty of people consider vacations to nearby Spain or England, they overlook Portugal, which is really a shame. Many of the homes in the old town are painted in the quaint and welcoming pastels of mustard, pink, and lilac.The National Palace of Sintra dominates the plaza. WIth its distinctive conical chimneys, the elegant building leaves an impression you soon won’t forget. Spanning several stories, the palace contains distinctive  and memorable decors.
