Austin is the Perfect Getaway from LA
We highly recommend Joy Kennelly as a gifted and excellent travel agent. Being new empty nesters, my husband and I like taking advantage of three day weekends. Los Angeles to Austin was a perfect getaway. Even though we only had three days, we absolutely returned feeling like we saw Austin and that we had a vacation.
Joy is an expert on Austin. She helped us choose the most comfortable area for our hotel and it ended up being a great choice. She directed us to the larger tourist attractions which she knew we would enjoy such as the LBJ Museum and Terry Black's BBQ. She pointed out many ways Austin is known as Weird Austin but also allowed us to opt out on some attractions because there were so many.
She recommended traveling south to Wimberly to their arts fair (400-500 vendors!). We enjoyed the drive, the fair and our lunch was awesome.
We are grateful for Joy's guidance and expertise. I look forward to planning further excursions with her help in the future.

Exploring Alaska by Car in 4 Days
We highly recommend Joy Kennelly as a travel agent. Joy helped us this year with our trip to Alaska in May. As a guide, Joy is resourceful, responsive, and on top of the latest trends. She asks questions and listens intently in order to offer the most specific and tailored suggestions.
Since we did not want to take a cruise, we needed Joy's expertise to help us to figure out how to do something most don't do. Joy began our plan by asking what sorts of activities we enjoyed.
As I learned about our destination, she offered suggestions to make our plans work well. She recommended Whittier for a one-day glacier cruise. We learned that seeing bear eat salmon would cost us a $1,000 helicopter ride which we decided to forego. But we were directed to drive through the Kenai Peninsula which was amazingly beautiful and to stop at a local bar and grill which we loved. She encouraged my quirky taste such as our desire to visit a musk ox farm.
Overall, our trip was a huge success.
